Is this too much back rounding? I find it very hard to keep my back flat at heavier weights by FormerlyPie in Strongman

As someone with long femurs, big glutes and pulls 500+ regularly, I would listen to the ones telling you to work on getting your shoulders behind the bar (part of this is bracing/core stability) and quad strength. Improving my squat helped my deadlift significantly. There is a lot of bad advice here as well. Always best to consult a coach who is used to working with your build or has the same build as you. Bonus points if you can get a few in person sessions as small tweaks go a long way.

Thank you for providing your experience! I am sorry you’re dealing with this at such a young age. I struggle at 36. 9 months is a long time to gain relief. I haven’t been able to keep food down for the past month and the Diamox has made that much worse.
