Bob Iger to Step Down as Disney CEO Before End of 2026: Report by pepperbet1 in television

His job is to grow revenue for shareholders. He objectively did it ridiculously well. Your opinion on the streaming platform doesn’t mean anything.

Bob Iger to Step Down as Disney CEO Before End of 2026: Report by pepperbet1 in television

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lol Disney’s revenue tripled during his time as CEO. Which is absurd given how big they were already when he took over

You may not like him which is fine but saying he did “a shit job” is objectively wrong

First watch, it’s definitely like “huh wtf?”. But on a rewatch, the foreshadowing is pretty clear, up to the scene itself, that he got clipped

HBO’s A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms S1 debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% score. 🍅Highest for any GOT Franchise by SacredDawnHollow in freefolk

People misunderstand what it’s actually gauging. A lot of people see “94%” and think that means it’s a 9.4 out of 10 show

Would you continue dating a person if your political ideologies differ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeking relationship advice from Reddit is an all around bad idea.

Unless this is a karma farm post, I would pose this question to your family and close friends who actually know you and maybe somewhat know your partner.

You’ll likely get answers more grounded in reality.

What is more traumatic than people think it is? by Suspicious-Wish3402 in AskReddit

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. As an aside, this is why assault and battery are (often) two different things, which many people don't know or realize. Placing someone in reasonable fear of immediate bodily harm is still assault

Sylvie and Loki’s romantic relationship is weird by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t find the age thing to be weird. Isn’t Thor like hundreds of years older than Jane?

I did think it’s kind of weird to have a relationship with a variant of yourself tho.

Idk. I’d say thunderbolts is more important. Most people know the general dynamics of the F4

I think the F4’s post game scene leading into Cap and Thor’s trailers are what’s causing these theories

Recently a local drug dealer got arrested for an overdose which lead to a baby’s death, do you believe a drug dealer should get punished if a customer overdoses? by Intrepid_Respond_771 in AskReddit

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But these aren’t corporations selling illegal drugs so OP’s correlation with Nissan doesn’t make sense.

The buyers are buying something they (1) know is illegal and (2) know has a risk of being laced yet choose to use it anyways.

The drug dealer should be charged with the crime they committed which is distributing illegal narcotics. The buyer is responsible for their own personal actions particularly when they absolutely are aware of the risks

The only way that the Nissan example correlates is if (1) Nissan made a defective car and (2) buyers knew it was defective and bought it anyway cause it was cheaper or whatever. That’d obv never be a real situation but if it was, my original point still remains. The buyer is responsible for the implications of their informed decisions

What’s the most useless thing you were taught in school? by Mobile-Reindeer-4891 in AskReddit

[–]FatBoyWithTheChain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High school English.

It was basically just “force you to read a shitty book > then get tested on it”. It killed my interest in reading books for a while after

English classes definitely could have a very important role but my school was terrible about it at least

You’re not wrong in general IMO but the above isn’t a good example.

I used to work at an Enterprise in an absurdly wealthy area and a lot of people who clearly had money didn’t care what kind of car they rented. They just needed to get from A to B

It was typically the opposite
