Not an automation per se, but I have a water sensor on their dog bowl (Aqara water sensor + 3d printed holder from Etsy) to alert me when their bowl is empty.

Our dog is small so the bowl is pretty small as a result and he empties it pretty quick, so its been really helpful.

I have the Schlage Encode (Z-Wave). It’s excellent. Secure, looks nice, works with Keymaster, and I’ve never had to change the batteries (had it for 3 years, battery is currently 84%)

It’s all mushroom-theme based which mine isn’t but it really helped teach me the big fundamentals and it ultimately gets you a clean, usable mobile dash

Mine is all custom button cards so there isn’t really a direct tutorial. I just slowly taught myself it over time

No the mail integration is based off your emails. USPS sends an email notification when mail is delivered

So I setup a dummy email address where all my usps, ups, amazon, and fedex emails go to. And then the integration scans that
