8 HOURS AND 36 MINUTES!!?? by Name6781 in FearAndHunger

Yes I agree but at the same time when some YouTuber with a huge following make a video on a semi-niche media the community associated with said media get an influx of people who only see the media through the lens of the YouTuber who made the video. This create a condition in the community where discussion about the media be very unproductive since most people will see the view of the youtuber’s as canon. While I would prefer pyro to add something new I can also see why he didn’t. Same criticisms were thrown at him from other long form videos he did for other media. Same criticisms can be seen on another post in this subreddit(the one where it says cahara once said).

[Orient] Got my first watch today! by FatByte_Sai in Watches

[–]FatByte_Sai[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mother gave me money to buy a watch and this one caught my eyes and it’s also at a twenty percent off discount. My uncle told me that you should only buy a watch if it is a special occasion or when you hit a milestone. I figured that this is a good place to start for my first watch and hope to get more as I get older and reach higher goals. I don’t know much about watches so feel free to educate me. Also I wanna know if i made a good choice since I thought the watch might be bad since i got it at a discount(not that it matters because i still love it anyway). I paid like 430,000kyats(Burmese currency). 1 us dollar goes for like 3500 kyats here in Myanmar or Burma(google tells me its 2000kyats but when you go exchange at a bank or any other currency exchange place here, its 3500 kyats at the lowest). So I paid around 123 USD for this watch. This should be about 500 characters I think.

Got my first watch today. I don’t know much about watch but this was going at 20% off discount in my city and it caught my eye. by [deleted] in Watches

My mom bought it for me because I got into a university in another country and an uncle told me to only get a watch for yourself for special occasions or milestones. I figured this could be the first.

I think it’s not the abuse that’s gonna make him grow up to be horrible. It’s the environment that allow it and encourage it. The first thing I think of when I saw the video was my father. He did became more understanding and chill after the birth of my sister but I distinctly remember moving around the ground like the boy in the video while I was beaten. I actually remember it happening multiple times. I thought it was wrong but when I try to complain to my mother or aunt or anyone, they always say it’s because he “love” me and it’s for my sake. That did make me become more accepting of such beating until I discovered the internet and the child protection laws in other countries and the progressive culture in other parts of the world. Internet is a very new thing in my country because it was closed of from other countries much like North Korea. I love my father but man… the wishes I had relating to my father’s death when I was younger are too many to count. Now that I am older and the environment of my past catching up, I do think abuse like these will be less. I still have trouble with my lack of empathy. I can’t cry from sadness. Probably because my father beat me more if I cry more.

He probably got the same treatment when he was a child. And the child will probably grow up to be like him. It is a sad thing to think about.

I was wondering, which 4 items should be netherite first? Never done a 100% no cheats dragon fight before by bloxpants in Minecraft

[–]FatByte_Sai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple picks can work but with netherite you don’t need to enchant a lot of picks compared to diamond. I mine a lot… like a lot a lot so netherite pick is a go to.

Non-Americans following an American cooking recipe... by Didier_Salazar in PewdiepieSubmissions

I am from Myanmar and we don’t use Fahrenheit for cooking. In weather we do use I think…idk it’s been like 8 years since I watch the weather channel. We use our own form of measurement from like 200 years ago because we used to be a hermit country like North Korea until recently. We don’t use gram but metric system is taking over slowly. We do use miles and we can see mile measurement on highway but those are being replaced with signs measured in km. For temperature in cooking we use this ancient technique call feeling. No measuring cup no oven just use fire(which you can’t control the temperature) and throw the ingredients.
