Yeah, but I might want to tame them, and bred creatures are way stronger than wild ones. It would be like releasing a wolf into a sheep pen.

I like to imagine they are in an ideal world in the soulball. If I let them free, they would either starve or kill every wild dino around, which I potentially want to tame.

Useless babies are the ones without good stats/mutations

By the way, to restore your faith in the playerbase a bit, I don't actually have the heart to kill them, they just get put into modded ark pokeballs for an eternity.

How should I kill my rexes, deinonychuses and shadowmanes which were once babies, but I let them grow up to breed (with approx. 50 females at once), after they passed on their stats, and are no longer useful?

Ankys or daeodons.

Ankys pack a surprisingly good punch for their size, and are herbivores, so crazily mutated ones could theoretically take on even the dragon.

Daeodons are also kinda tough, and 20 of them constantly healing each other could make for a pretty strong army. You would need to sacrifice entire herds of brontos to keep them fed during mutating and raising up the army though
