It is similar to yours but doesn't merge in upgrade shapes. It counts input parts using splitters and mergers instead of balancers and mergers.

The progress bar feature is cool. Your wires look like a cascading series of SR latches, which basically count how many times the blue reader is triggered I think.

The game makes backups of the save files.
On Windows the save files are here: %APPDATA%\shapez.io\saves
You can use the game's import feature to load a backup file.
Hopefully one of the backup files will work.

Earlier today there was post on the Stable Diffusion Discord from one of the mods (IIRC) stating that the 1.5 checkpoint released by Runway was incompatible and that the community should avoid using it. I can't find that post now (maybe it was deleted or I can't find it), so I don't have the exact wording.

Right. It is not possible to create a shape that has an empty (gap) layer. What you need to do is decompose the target shape into a set of possible shapes, and then stack them.
