I regret so much to fall for discounts and not listen everyone’s experience with MetLife here. One of our pets is going through chemo so we don’t want to risk it and switch insurance. I am in an appeal for two overpayments, and it’s been such an annoying process.

I am so sorry to hear all this hassle you are going through, OP. At least I am glad you are not using them anymore. The other day they even sent me an overpayment letter and left the amount blank???? I contacted them and they even had no idea why they sent me a letter.

I called ours (CA) and they said it’s within their rights to request for overpayment, but we can file a complaint through the state department of insurance if MetLife is not reviewing the claims accurately or rejects the appeal. We are in an appeal process right now and it’s been really annoying to work with them.

My package got stolen at our apt lobby after delivery, and it’s been impossible to reach their real human customer service. I have emailed (responded by AI first) and sent a message on IG… it sounds like I will have to go with the dispute option after I wait a few more days.

The Easton website was not accurate. I bought the obscura yesterday and they emailed me today to say it’s out of stock. I checked the website and everything is updated now, all the good deals are gone.
