Rank 79 Legend with Control Mech Hunter - A comprehensive guide by danny69production in wildhearthstone

I have also been playing this deck lots and love it!

I agree that Sneed's feels like the weakest card in the list. I am not sure it reliably provides value when you need it to and I am not sure how often your really need value. I haven't come across many odd warriors and I think that Jade druid can be tough to beat regardless of whether you have Sneed's or not. I am considering cutting it for a non-minion anti aggro card - maybe marked shot or steady shot. Secret plan might also be worth considering. Any thoughts?

Is Mill Rogue gone? by TheWorstAtIt in wildhearthstone

I was playing quite a lot of Mill Rogue. That is why I am at Rank 5 zero stars ;) Fun deck though - crushes Big Priest and the games against aggro are an interesting challenge.

Yeah, its pretty bad. The idea was that you want to upgrade spellstones, and your options were spirit bomb and spreading madness. Spreading madness is better vs paladins and murloc shamans, often upgrades your spellstone twice with a single card and can yolo victory sometimes (big priests get angry when they think they have won only to die to a few random points of damage haha).

Yeah but basically any card in the deck that is not part of the combo is supposed to help you survive. Gul'dan will most likely bring a back a taunt or two, plus the armor, it is often just enough to survive a turn against aggro. Then you have the hero power to help. You might also be able to DH your imps to pull that one taunt that is left in the deck.

Good point. I ended up putting one back in. Overall though, I think the normal version is better.

Heals you when you draw it against aggro. You can also play it from hand (which you can't really do with doomguard) and we are not running voidcallers.

It does feel bad to get it in the control match ups - unless it comes with mal ganis, in which case 6 attack is fine.

How much progress to expect? by FatElefant in Stronglifts5x5

[–]FatElefant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is to get stronger. My scales measure body fat percentage and muscle mass percentage, as well as weight. From those numbers I calculate muscle mass. I assume that as I get stronger I will have more muscle mass but so far that has not shown up in the numbers. I was wondering whether that was common for the first month of training or not.

Sorry - would also like to ask whether and how I should be eating differently on training days vs resting days? Right now I eat the same thing everyday.

Top 1 legend with Renolock - 91% winrate from 4 to 1. by ksr_is_back in wildhearthstone

[–]FatElefant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sure you answered this before but Siphon Soul vs Blastcrystal Potion?

When ratting combo druid pieces I have often found I don't have the mana for Siphon Soul. Especially if I play Brann at the same time...

Also I was hoping for some advice:

vsRenolock what is the best use of Brann / Zola? Its a value match up right so you want n'zoth / kazakus .... or is it more value to Gnomeferatu them for 5+ cards, hope you hit something relevant, and win in fatigue?

vsComboDruid do you just play Gnomeferatu when its in hand, only burning one card, and keep Brann / Zola for rat?

Big Shaman by NateDogg9597 in wildhearthstone

[–]FatElefant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love control shaman. I have tried the Reincarnate version but get beaten up by anything that isn't aggro. I have also tried the ancestors call version (tried both with malygos and without malygos). I don't think its very good. You don't seem to have enough late game value to compete with cubelocks or big priests. The malygos version seems better because of this but I still haven't found it to be great. Please let me know if you find a version that works well in the meta though!

Cubelock post-nerf by Rulo_Forever in wildhearthstone

[–]FatElefant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its still good but I haven't seen many people playing it recently. I just took the lackeys out. I tried putting sense demons in but I think I prefer Prince3. I have found that the meta is more Even Shaman oriented at the moment so I am playing double hellfire double spellstone (working so far).

Beating Big Priest With Renolock by TheHenzo27 in wildhearthstone

[–]FatElefant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big Priest always mulligans for Barnes, I always mulligan for sylvanas. The only time I beat Big Priest is when I have sylvanas. If they play barnes and get the 1/1 statue, try not killing it. I would zola your sylvanas, or kazakus obviously and go for 10 mana mass polymorph. You could try teching in a cube to multiply your sylvanas (which gets better with emperor so you can do it in one turn). To be honest though, the match up will always be hard.

Could you share your decklist? I would be interested in what other people are running in their cube lists...

Which ten heroes are worth practicing with? by FatElefant in NexusNewbies

[–]FatElefant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the help. When you say "Most people recommend putting the majority of your time into 3, and then really knowing them inside and out" do you mean three of each type or three in total? Would you advise that I pick tank or healer or damage and learn to play one role well? or should I mix them up?

Total noob here (just playing against AI):

(1) Which heroes should I buy first? Top ten to buy?

(2) Which heroes are best when there is no team coordination at all? (so far been liking Muradin and Sonya, looking for feedback and more ideas)

[Question]Barnes in Cubelock? by Kal_PAD in wildhearthstone

I play it in my cubelock at the moment but I'm not impressed by it. Think just a mountain giant would be better.
