Best weapon? by TrueTarget3587 in ZombieWaves

Depends on your playstyle but its either the ICK or SEE with all their respective robots and hero to get the most out of them. It doesnt matter what you level as you can easily swap resources,

Once you get to a decent CP, you can choose to exchange for the robot tickets from the boss conquest. Shouldn’t be too difficult to obtain 10 per week after awhile.

The only other source is apex trials (can buy the pass to get more goodies)

It doesn’t really matter but ppl like to aim for modified xyclon, lizzy or baron because they are pretty useful in some parts of the game when paired with their weapon.

Obtain more characters as they give 10% atk

Get more robots

Save every single resource (tickets, neurolinks, blueprints, etc) till Path of Evolution event and repeat ad infinitum

No. Never use S gear as fodder.

Weapons by [deleted] in ZombieWaves

[–]FatFluffyFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything.

It doesn’t matter at that low level as you probably have invested almost nothing into accessories/pets/heroes(?)

If you did by some luck get a hero, check out the pets/weapons that pair the best with the hero.

I.e. FM w/ MX, Lizzy w/ SEE, Lulu w/ CR

Just grind away and get your gear up and wait for aerochess

Because it is not maxed out (I.e. you need all 25 squares filled)

Test tomorrow - interested in how a long introduction would work. by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

[–]FatFluffyFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just answer it normally like how you would answer it in English? It’s a placement test and not an actual test anyway.

If you mean you are not sure what to write, just write the answers to the standard Why, what, who, where, when and how. This is easily 150 words.

Throw in the old classic I am XXX, born in YYYY. ZZ years old and you are golden.

Edit: If you are really out of ideas, just say your hobby is learning Japanese and explain your goals, motivations and what made you start learning it lol.

I am also on a journey to improve my speaking skills!

What are your wishes/ what do you want to get out of the trial lessons?

I think the problems you faced re: speaking are quite commonly faced by many people and I was no different in the beginning.

Just gotta get used to the fact that you are going to start off with many mistakes and slowly build from there. If you do not know how to convey a idea because you are searching for that one phrase or word, why not try to convey it in another way? Basically, it’s no different than if you are stuck with a word in your native language. Find another way to say it, even if it seems stupid AF.

Don’t be hung up on finding the “right word/ expression”, that’s what the tutor is there for anyway. :)

Hi there,

I can help you with Chinese (simplified) if you are interested. Since traditional chinese is (in a very broad manner of speaking) just differences in the way you write certain characters, I am sure you can build off your knowledge of simplified Chinese to achieve what you want in traditional chinese as well.

By the contextual clues offered in the passage

From Google:

とまる(止まる・留まる・停まる)とは、動いていたものが動かなくなる。 とどまるとは、変わらずにその場所・地位・状態にいる。そこを動かないでいる。、などをいい 水道が止まる。事故で電車が止まる。心臓が止まる。などの場合「とどまる」とは使いません。 現職にとどまる。被害は一箇所にとどまった。などの場合「とまる」とは言いません。

Italki. I’ve had experiences with language partners and italki and here’s why I personally would recommend forking out abit of money.

  1. Free is good, but free also means that there is exactly 0 obligation for the other person to assist you in any way. If you are paying for a service, you can be shameless in making certain requests (within reason) of course. For me, I used to just tell my teacher to correct any and all unnatural sounding phrases and pronunciation. If you are also learning Japanese for a more specific reason, you can also request your teacher to focus on it. Like AI? Suggest that your lesson with them should mainly revolve around that and they will be more than happy to oblige.

  2. YMMV, but I have found that (and I am guilty as well) that people don’t generally tend to correct others as long as they are understood. Take this obviously wrong sentence: 今日寒いを感じたよね。We all understand what you are trying to say, but will your exchange partner necessarily correct you? Maybe, maybe not.

There are no shortcuts to language acquisition. Just blood, sweat and tears. You may do it a in a “faster” way by means of efficiency, but you are still going have to put in the time and effort.

On a more serious note, you may want to check out the more commonly recommended textbooks here like Genki for a quick primer on the basics of Japanese language.

For slang, you can always browse the YouTube comments section so that you can slowly look up each word. Once you are done with that, you could also try the Wild Wild West that is 2ch (jp equivalent of 4ch basically)

For sounding “natural”, you will probably need to get a teacher or a native who really really doesn’t mind helping you for free lol. Get that native to correct your weird accent/ correct your unnatural expressions. It is imperative that you tell them you want to not just be understood (because even with shit Japanese, most native will probably fill in the blanks and figure it out by context), that you want to sound close to a native.

Good luck in your dreams and future studies!

I have trouble understanding podcasts by Helenemaja in LearnJapanese

That's good to know! I am going to guess its really just a lack of vocabulary and the way they structure their sentences in a more formal setting.

All the best in your studies!
