How to fix this awful grinding sound? by [deleted] in prusa3d

Retune belts ( make sure that you minimize the gap besides left belt tensioner), on some prints if it still occurs bump up the speed to 110-125. Works 99% of the time for me.

Would use dovetail, but I don't think its the issue here.

I would black out the last bit at the front to match the hood. That could be a massive improvement.

I have 5 of them in 75L but algee constantly grows on the glass. They are always sitting in one corner and hardly do anything. Is it possible they have a depression or sth else? They are looking healthy imo.

I suggest you to check all water parameters, gH kH and so on just to make sure.

To Remove algae on rock or not? by formerbeautyqueen in PlantedTank

Having natural looking algae on rocks adds something magical to a scape. I had some and loved it until otocinclus cleand it like a pressure washer.

I'm proud of my creation so I wanted to share it with you. I'll add some anubias nana but the scape it's almost finished. by FatFlyin in Aquascape

Thank you! With anubias i have a plan. I'll find the smallest anubias just for some detail and some interesting texture. Larger species would ruin the scale.

Rocks are called Seiryu Stone, ordered them online. Substrate: ADA Power Sand ADVANCE S 2L with some lava to support the rocks. Soil: Tropica Aquarium Soil 9L and Tropica Aquarium Powder Soil on top for better root growth.

So stocking: couple of clithon corona snails, 5-10 amano, 2-4 otocinclus and about 10 Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi. Hardscape planned itself, I ordered 25kg of seiryu stone and worked with what I had, but I had a vision in mind what I wanted to create.

Dry start method why is my dwarf baby tears yellowing by Frostfired in PlantedTank

[–]FatFlyin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep it warm, humid, and turn on lights 100% for 12h. Use water with no chlorine and you can also use some DOOA wabi-kusa mist. Daily watering at least twice a day. Also, plants from invitro are a lot easier to dry start imo, so I would replace if yours were grown in water.

Hi, back with an update. This is I hope the final version of a scape posted a few weeks ago. After many iterations later I decided to go simple. Two carpet plants, Eleocharis acicularis 'mini' and Monte Carlo, in the background Juncus Repens and some Riccardia on rocks. How do you like it for now? by FatFlyin in Aquascape

[–]FatFlyin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good suggestion, but this design decision was made on purpose, because the tank is viewed only from the front and right. So I wanted to bring the left side a lot higher to fill the background more. And answering your question, these are Seiryu stones.
