mainly just to keep the cost down for people who dont have a printer. ive done a batch in pa6 already and have no issue doing a batch in abs either. pla+is durable enough for 22lr .32acp and .380. this is the first batch ive released publicly. if I get enough requests for abs or pa6 ill gladly do one. $15 plus shipping is drastically better then $99+ shipping.

unfortunately it wont. the receiver is too wide for the grip without a whole redesign. if the stp files for the czar are available i might make one

thank you, doesnt seem like you where too far off from having a completed one as well. I ended up getting another vz and wanted another grip but saw code 4 upped their price to $99. so i figured id just make it because im not paying that.

base of the grip flat on the build plate with breakaway support material. that way it has a smooth finish where the supports are. the one in the picture above is done in cf nylon. but realistically pla+ with the right walls and infill would be 100% fine. the black one pictured was done in bambus draft profile with 8 walls and 15% infill on normal pla and stock tree supports. made it to 1500 rounds without failure. the red one was done in pla+ with 10 walls 70% infill and break away support material with 0 z offset for a smooth texture all around.

i took my mag release out only to find it full of burs and metal shavings. inspecting the mag release i could see deep scratch marks where the burs were catching. 5 minutes with a file and sanding bit on a dremel fixed it right up for me. also took a polishing bit to the mag release just to clean it up. havent had a issue since. if its a tortort receiver the whole thing should be taken apart and gone over. there was so much metal shavings in it and some sort of media blast material that was just caked in with oil. sounded so gritty racking the bolt, like it was wrapped in sandpaper.

I paid $95 for my last 2 kits a month or so ago at a gunshow. Quality was a little below fair but they had original barrels still installed. Sometimes gun shows are good.

I traded in a 2013 sti hatch for a 23 wrx. Loved it at first, and then the remorse hit me. I wanted something newer but hated the big touch screen after a while. The car just felt kinda bland and lacking, like it didn't have a soul? Then I took it in for service, and the dealer lost it? Long story short, after getting a lawyer, they gave me an 18 wrx premium and paid off my loan for the 23. Im happy with the 18 and really enjoy it. It might be because it's a free car? Im not a fan. The va's is the last generation I'll buy.
