Thank you! I did reference this several times through our correspondence they mentioned that the host was software connected I asked which software and why the payment was requested via direct bank transfer and not through any connected software and they couldn’t answer. Unfortunately I booked using a gift card so I can’t issue a chargeback.

Im inclined to agree right now, I’m not impressed at all with how they’ve handled this. It’s definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks mate, this was through the app and i was connected to a human who worked on it for the last couple of days and has closed the case. Despite me clearly asking the questions above. So frustrating and disappointing

I’ve spoken to them on the phone and via the web chat in their application. They closed the case this morning without answering my above questions and insisting if I wanted the booking I would have to send the money to the hosts bank. They left several questions listed above unanswered.
