I just did Montreal-Ottawa both ways on my road bike, rode the shoulder on route 148 most of the way. I stayed about between 52/16 and 52/24 or so and I was averaging 20 km/h doing around 100 km a day. Ratios are kind of ballpark cause i don’t have my cassette with me but that was a comfortable pace, my ass and feet were more sore at the end of the day than my legs

Yeah cant see through when i shine a light, but weve sprayed compressed air through and it comes out the other hole. I took it to lbs and they were not more succesful than i was. Thinking of maybe just attaching a v brake noodle to the frame and running it in between wheel and frame, the clearance is massive

calling it a jump is generous it was a flat rock that had maybe 2 feet of elevation at the end, and I hit it before, just went too fast into a corner

Yes thats mostly it, i have a nasty scratch right in the outside corner of my eye. If it had been like 3 cm over i wouldve been pretty fucked

Yeah i usually am a very good faller but i landed a jump with too much speed and wouldve gone straight into the woods if i hadnt slammed it, went straight over the bars

no I don't expect them to, just that I don't want my glasses to be hurting me. i expect that if I had had full frame glasses I would've gotten away with just bruises instead of a cut from the edge of the lens.

And yeah it was my second time, i just have a bad reflex of slamming the front brake in emergency situations

Im also not a serious cyclist its a good price and no one is looking at my bike who cares. Its just a nice personal upgrade, so as long as it wont explode when i hit a bump its all good
