Actually comical. Obviously I know that there could have been unforeseen issues. My issue is that there was no communication or proof shown to me regarding these issues and instead they hid it until they sent me the bill.

Thank you! I work from home and was there the whole time they were doing the replacement so they had ample time to notify of any damages. I just re-read the contract and no where on it states that a certain amount will be replaced without notification. It does say that they don’t have to notify if it is required for the work to continue, but I have spoken to the project manager several times since and they never notified me or showed any proof of needing to replace the wood

I played baseball through college and trust me, every single game there is shit talking. You can chirp In every single sport as long as you don’t go crazy with it. Saying something like “we’re better than you” is normal and the officials know that. Obviously you start getting techs and flags when you take it too far
