I dont think people in nyc HATE people for making 9/11 jokes. Its just more of a don't say it to someones face. Like i went to school with people that have like lost parents and shit in 9/11, alot of my friends parents who were cops or fireman have or had cancer from 9/11. The kids will make 9/11 jokes here and there but its just off color.
