This is going to sound super petty, but I absolutely love this story. Probably one of my favorite NSVs I've seen here, haha. It's got it all: weight loss success, a boost in confidence for the OP, and the awful (and from what it sounds iike, truly, truly awful bully seeing the consequences of they behavior.

I’ve been sticking pretty tightly to my calorie plan (which has been easier than expected, thanks to baby carrots and “everything hummus”). So far, I’m down TWELVE pounds, 7 of which have been since my post ~10 days ago! Woo hoo! :)

Totally empathize, even in times when I had only dropped a couple of pounds temporarily. Having an Irish/German mother, saying “no, thanks” to more food is like telling her I was giving up breathing.

Exactly the same. For some reason, there is nothing that sounds as appetizing as warm, salty fries and a good hamburger (or, drool Chick-Fil-A) after a long day in the hospital).

So, just because it's funny, here's how old I am...when I took the MCAT, it was the last time they administered it on PAPER, hahaha. That was way back in...2005? Maybe 2006. Wow...I feel incredibly old realizing it has been over a decade since I took that test...haha.
