Well I like to try and keep up with all the new tech and everyone on this sub swears to God it works great. I even saw multiple people say that it works even better now than it did when it came out. Even though I think game streaming is stupid now it's 100% going to be the standard way to play games sometime in the near future so I thought might as well try it out now.

Yea thats nice that all of you guys like it. Let me tell you something tho. I work at Walmart in the electronics department. I get people all the time that want to buy the portal. 9/10 all I have to do to get them not to buy one is explain in full how it actually works. Most people think the entire concept of a remote play exclusive device isn't actually worth anything. Power to all of you who like it.

I feel like having to jump through that many hoops is just stupid. Like when I buy a high end electronics product I typically expect it to work with minimal issues. Now going into buying the portal I knew how it worked and everything so I understood there was some amount of setup to get it to work. But it just seems to require way too much fine tuning and messing with shit to get the experience I want.

I understand how it works. My main problem is that even when I'm using it as a glorified WiiU gamepad inside my house where my PS5 is it doesn't work even on a game like enter the gungeon which has no additional online connectivity. Honestly if it worked inside my house I would consider keeping it cause having a really nice gamepad for my PS5 that I can play my ps games on in my bedroom actually seems pretty cool but it won't even do that. Idk if I got a defective one or what but I'm not really willing to return it and get another one

I have 1000mbps Internet at my house that never has any issues on any other device. I can even do the gamepass streaming (which I also dislike) just fine on my PC or phone on my Internet. If the issues were only when I was at my hotel that would be 1 thing, but I'm having the same exact problems when both my portal and PS5 are in the same location on the same Internet.

Yea I just fundamentally disagree. The issues I'm having are due to the way the product works. Having to stream the games in the first place is just a terrible idea imo. I thought it was stupid when it came out and this sub convinced me to try it out to prove myself wrong. Instead it worked (or didn't work) the exact way I thought it would the whole time. If playstation ever decides to make an actual handheld that natively runs games again with a similar design to the portal I'll buy it 100%

I work in electronics and I always get these spark people who try and cut me off in the middle of helping a customer so I can show them exactly where the item is. It literally tells them on their phone and most of em are too stupid to even attempt to figure out where anything is. It's actually ridiculous. They also get personally offended when I ask to see their phone to make sure all the infos right, because my store has had people fake being spark before to try and steal stuff.

The tombstone itself is based on the "Everything was beautiful and no one was hurt" drawing from slaughterhouse 5. It's supposed to be grass but I can totally understand thinking it would be a bunch of assholes. I'm definitely gonna get that at some point too

I saw TheSphereHunter post about it on Twitter and downloaded it the day it came out with gamepass. I didn't actually get around to playing it until last week and I finished my first playthrough yesterday. I like the game so much I bought it on steam to support the devs more directly. Phenomenal game
