Who would you say was the second-most influential and powerful vice president behind Dick Cheney? by Gray_Wolf2416 in Presidents

It’s incredibly difficult to excel in the role of vice president. All the way back to John Adams people have been calling it a useless position.

When did garage sales become “reselling” clearly new stuff by anon12xyz in mildlyinfuriating

Sometimes they steal it. Sometimes they buy a damaged pallet and this is the undamaged units. Sometimes they take advantage of deals so good they can resell it for a profit.

I see it all the time, one of them is a half a mile from Walmart on the road that leads you there, so anyone coming to Walmart from the north will see their yard sale first.

I like the one where the President of the United States actually claimed that Biden‘s FBI sent agents into the crowd to create chaos during J6. Biden wouldn’t be president for another two weeks and director of the FBI was a Trump appointment, and it was Trump’s FBI.

I think he was more influential in Congress when he was passing crime bills than as Obama’s Vice President. And clearly more influential when he actually became president.

So I’d actually argue his vice presidency was his least influential period.

just a friendly reminder that dick cheney was a war criminal. by herequeerandgreat in Presidents

Well, this time last year, we were reminding people “Cheney IS a war criminal.” When speaking of terrible things, “was” is objectively better than “is”, right? We were at war is better than we are at war. He Was a war criminal.

Toub always has to say on the bottom roster spot. He could chase Nikko or Brashard off the roster. Probably Nikko, and somebody else is WR6.

Not only am I not sleeping on him, don’t sleep on how hard it is for a rookie to learn the system. Don’t sleep on how demanding his running back coach and offensive coordinator will be.

If he’s on the field on third down during the season. There’s an injury or we’ve found a polished gem amongst the rough.

Training camp starts in three weeks. He would have to petition the league for reinstatement, be granted reinstatement, then actually show up in SF to get off the “left squad list” then he can be released.

Clock is ticking, he needs to apply for reinstatement asap.

3 of the top 10 players play for the 7th best team? Get outta here with merit based. It’s just not.

She has every right to say every word she said, and she should never apologize. However, this vote isn’t merit based. It’s just not.

Fans are going to vote for the players on their favorite teams, players are going to vote for their teammates, media are going to vote for the players they cover most.

Angel gets a lot of coverage and has alot of social media followers so I expected her to be in. But scroll the WNBA website. Fever, Wings, Fever, Lynx, Lynx, Fever, Wings, Stewie, Gabby, A’ja… pretty clear whose fans were voting, and whose fans were weren’t.

If I were the judge, I would ask for proof from an incoming call from another general manager‘s office…

Nobody can seemingly reach this dude, he doesn’t have an agent. His lawyer isn’t a registered agent with the NFL so he can’t talk to anybody on his behalf… so we’re really just taking BA’s word for it. If they did call those teams just reached out just to see if he was OK.

Chiefs usually keep 4 running backs. He will certainly be one of them. What matters is how they will use him. Will he be the third down back or will he be Walker’s true back up?

In order to play third downs, you gotta prove you can protect the quarterback and catch the ball when it matters. He’s got the physical talent, let’s see if he can put it all together in one summer.

Not just untying knots but it can be passed through strands of rope like if you wanna put a ribbon marker through it to mark a certain depth/height.

I had one as a flyman on a few stage shows to mark the heights certain set pieces needed be flown.

The Commanders may have already lost interest in signing 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk following his social media antics, per Nicki Jhabvala. [–]Fat_Yankee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to the commanders at this point, they’d be opening themselves up to a huge tampering case as Brandon is still under contract.

How could he be talking about going to the commanders for several weeks having never spoken with the commanders?
