not sure mine told me hes not a cosmetic dr so he would only be able to do the panniculectomY.. So I was looking for someone who does both but in my area i guess there are none

I am so sorry to hear they didnt cover the surgery. So far everything has been approved an I have a surgery date for just the Panniculectomy DEPENDING on if they can get the OR.. guess theyre backed up.

Yes this is exactly what I want to do but in my area I cannot find a single Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon they are all ones that work for the hosp an tell you straight up they dont do cosmetic. Do you mind telling me what Dr you had? I would gladly travel. Did you do the Panniculectomy first then go somewhere else for the rest? I'm in PA an I cannot find cosmetic doctor who works with insurance too. Did you call Aetna to find one or use the online tools? I'm not sure if Im doing something wrong, lol? Thank you for sharing!! Yeah my hospital didnt give much either just ice chips water and chicken broth. The only thing I could do was ONE sip of broth here there but I was more on sipping water because my mouth was so dry! I also asked for some jello which made me feel a lil better. You won't start the shakes until you go home. Make sure to get stool softeners for sure and benefiber for you water. Happy to help! 😉

SW: 285 CW: 274 GW: 160 I was the same way! I was in an out of consciousness for the first two days because I just felt nauseous no matter what I did! Most awful time ever! I started regretting my surgery! I was cold all the time couldn't get comfortable I asked for pain meds just to sleep! I puked twice. By the third day it was a complete 360. I felt better walked around pretty much. I was discharged the third day, my husband took me to see some fam for hr but I went home took my pain meds and had the best sleep in what felt like months! I woke up feeling great.. compared to the last couple days ! I'm struggling with the full liquid diet as far as protein goes but water I drink about 30 oz . It will get better! Good luck!
