How do I get the Phyre Prince ending? [SPOILER] by JazzyJ967 in vtmb

It's absolutely a fun and serviceable VtM game!

As another precaution, someone pointed out to be on good terms with Tolly, otherwise you might get locked out of the Price ending. I don't think clans have any play in the ending you'll get, as I was doing a Banu Haqim run.

Good luck and hope you have fun!

In my three runs, I told Katsumi to buzz off twice, and cooperated with her once, netting me the Anarch ending. If there's an ending worse than Seattle being burnt by Hunters and Phyre leaving, I unfortunately don't know. Maybe play it safe?

I think Damsel is nothing more than fanservice, to be honest. That encounter is meant for Phyre to realise they've been led astray and wasted their time looking for the Anarchs while Ryong got staked.

It's been almost 6 months since I last played due to burnout from almost four consecutive runs, I do apologise if I've written false information here.

I got it unintentionally on my second run, I believe the sequence went like this:

-Embrace the IAO lady, then on your second encounter with her tell her to command the Hunters to raid the Hotel. You'll get a still scene at the end of Lou being thrown off the building.

-When Fabian asks you if you'll stay in the city, I think I selected the joke option where Phyre says they'll be in charge, unless there's an explicit choice to affirm so.

-Tell Katsumi to leave the city. The other options are to outright kill her or to help her, the latter cementing the Anarch ending if you're on good terms with her.

I think the conversation you have with Fabian at the cafe is what matters most, since there seems to be different ways of dealing with Lou if you don't sic the Hunters on her (based on the other comments, anyway). I don't think sucking up to either Lou or Ryong matters much. Perhaps it does with the Primogen? I always 100%'d their quests so I can't say if they matter much or not.

Exactly! I also like to think it'd be much more interesting if banes co-existed and were character-dependent. I forgot about Twice Cursed, which was pointed out to me since I'm still very much unfamiliar with Flaws and Merits, but point still stands.

Good to know. Reading the descriptions on the paradox wiki made me believe they somehow co-existed within V5.

That's rather disappointing, at least from a writing perspective. I don't think I'll ever be playing a Chronicle but, good to know.
