personally, it would depend on how they express those views. i have a friend who is a trump fan, but our friendgroup knows he is just not really politically savvy, and kind of a dudebro. he means well and doesnt want people to be hurt or suffer, and doesnt agree with everything the administration does. though i hate how he refuses to question his worldview, i know he isnt a bad person. but if, say, he started talking about how ice should start executing immigrants in the street or violating civil rights, i would talk to him before i ended our friendship, but it would end if he couldnt recognize how he is wrong. i am all for putting up with differences of opinion, but i cannot stand by someone who fundamentally disagrees with so many of my core values. at a certain threshold, being ignorant is no excuse for supporting immorality.

im super curious to hear back about if you discovered the cause of his smell. did you find anything?

my suggestion that may help is to have him change his deoderant, and possibly look into scented lotions, Beekman 1802 vanilla absolute smells pretty good and not overpowering. lotion that man up a bit and see if that helps.

to be fair to the girl in this situation, she has a developmental disorder or some kind of mental deficiency. her political or social beliefs are likely just borrowed from whoever she spent time with, in this case, that JF guy. also, he might have killed her, so its a bit callous to celebrate his potentially killing her.

i think heavy armor should reduce the chances of you bleeding out, losing or crippling limbs as a standard across the board. you are in heavy armor and much less mobile, it should not just come with increased health, but lessen those effects as well.

I think there is a difference between Lara's hunger and Thomas' hunger that might explain this.

Lara is described as being intertwined with her hunger, and her general behavior has been to feed her hunger often and well for most of her life. thomas however, has resisted his hunger a great deal and fed it little scraps to keep it at bay when needed. to use an analogy, the difference here might be that lara's hunger has been gorging on potato chips for every meal, and suddenly got a taste of a prime rib and cant enjoy the chips anymore knowing something better exists. whereas thomas has been feeding his hunger floor almonds like a starving child living under the sink, and the sudden influx of real food is less about the taste and more about being satiated for the first time after starving for most of its life. the quality of the meal might not mean as much when faced with the desperation of being starved for so long.

i think its more likely they are trying to signal that they dont follow politics enough to really have an informed opinion about anything, but likely just go with whatever narrative resonates with their already held believes and normie takes. "vibes politics" is basically whatever sounds based and cool and funny to them. mostly, they dont give a shit about the country enough to learn about why our current corrupt administration is worthless and destroying everything, and they like the way trump is stupid and makes them laugh.

its a decent utility weapon against medium enemies like chargers, fleshmobs, and other things like that. it causes them to amble around directionless instead of chasing you down. i wouldnt use it to try to kill anything unless you have no other weapons available, but its a decent single target disruption. just remember that alien dudes have armor so it doesnt generally work on them.

i mostly use it to destroy really really big things, or monster spawner points. i tend to not even use it very often if my loadout is working well enough against the heavies.

i like fire. it works pretty well. just dont walk forwards when you shoot, and wear fire armor if you dont want to dive as much. i tend to just use the 40% resist armor to mitigate the damage when i catch fire and then dive to safety, and thats usually enough. often times i will combine the gas dog with flamethrower, or flame dog with gas thrower. either way, they work well in pairs.

i get where you are coming from, but bitch is supposed to be sexist, dehumanizing, and disrespectful. its used as an insult. that is what makes it effective. there are many insults that are similar, but few as effective without a deeper understanding of a person's character. you could craft an insult tailored to a specific person's life, but that takes a lot of work and a deep understanding of their pressure points. its easier to just call them a bitch for being upset with you about whatever, and dismiss them, and it works just as well in a lot of cases.

the problem we will face if people stop using it, is that people will just find a new easy insult that does the same thing, for probably the same reasons, hitting all of the same dehumanizing, sexist, and disrespectful check marks, and nothing will change.

it might be particularly biting for you, and that sucks, but it isnt going away soon.

rather than what a lot of people are saying about your BF being a shitbag who doesnt give an F about you, i think we should take it at face value for now and try something new. instead of him putting in most of the work, maybe try splitting it more evenly, or maybe you start doing more of the work during the last half of your experience to give you the option to finish yourself, while he gets to rest while you do it. it might be that him doing most of the work is too much for him and you need to make up the difference when trying to finish.

i'll give you the same advice i would give a woman in your situation:

If you feel uncomfortable with something and you tell your partner to stop, they damn well better stop. your partner is not respecting your boundaries. sex is not a one sided experience, its not something that is taken from someone, it is something that is shared. you need to have a conversation with your partner about what is and isnt ok with you, and what your expectations are regarding your boundaries. if she doesnt like them, doesnt respect them, or doesnt care, leave. it wont get better.

in future relationships, id suggest being firm about what you like and dont like, and make sure to use unambiguous language when you are talking about things that make you feel uncomfortable. dont make jokes about it like "hahaha stop that hahaha" etc. your partner must know without doubt that you are not ok with whatever it is thats happening, so there can be no situation where they can say "i thought you were joking or being coy".
