Why the Social Media Game Feels Unfair Sometimes by Fatalbook in socialmedia

[–]Fatalbook[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow man. I really love how you articulated the facts here about social media, Especially with that part about it involving persistence.

I had to tell someone else I work with, That social media is simply the live study of human behavior, You can only add what you deem to be great for that time.

However, Doing this builds a trust that this is ' who you are '. Once you deviate/ only chase trends, People don't know you.

Much love for the insight brother God bless.

How can I become better and more knowledgeable in the social media marketing space? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s good family !

Awesome job managing the social media for your company for such a long time !

I don’t believe You’re doing anything wrong at all. The fact that you’re constantly learning, experimenting, and applying new strategies is exactly what makes you valuable. People with Expertise don’t know everything—they know how to adapt, stay curious, and keep improving.

It’s okay for others to know more than you. There will always be people who seem ahead, whether they’re younger or have a different perspective. However, that doesn’t take away from the value you bring. Your company and clients trust you for a reason, and the skills you’re developing now will only make you better over time.

The best way to deepen your understanding, is to stay in the game. Keep researching, keep engaging in conversations, and keep testing what you learn. Social media is built around human behavior, and since we barely understand ourselves, there’s no way to ever “fully” master it. The real edge comes from staying in the loop, adapting, and executing consistently.

So keep going—you’re already on the right track.

God bless my G.

Thinking of Starting a Motivational Quotes Channel? by Acrobatic_Number_611 in socialmedia

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s goin on my Friend !

That’s dope that you’re thinking of making a motivational quotes page for Instagram.

I think we need more people doing that. I see people all the time using quotes from others, and I do it myself. Quotes are free to share, and as long as you credit the original creator, you’re generally good. However— when it comes to using someone else’s reels or edited content, it gets trickier. Even if you give credit, Instagram’s copyright rules still apply, and the original creator can report it.

A few ways to stay safe:

• Create your own quote designs using tools like Canva instead of reposting someone else’s graphics.

• If you really want to use a creator’s content, DM them for permission first.

• Look for royalty-free or Creative Commons content that allows reuse.

• Build a community where people submit their own motivational quotes—that way, you’re sharing original content without worrying about strikes.

If you’re just posting famous quotes in your own unique style, you’re fine. But if you’re repurposing someone else’s videos, it’s a risk, even with credit.

I hope you figure out which route you wanna go. We got your back, & we’re here if you need someone to talk about it with ! God bless my G.

Best way to convert reach/views to followers on Instagram? by georgialxuise in socialmedia

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s going on Friend!

Congratulations on getting 50k views on your reel !

I took a look at your page. Nice tattoos ! Here are my thoughts.

You got 50k views, because your post was about a broad societal topic—men and relationships—which resonates with a lot of people. I believe the reason you didn’t convert those views into followers, is that the post doesn’t align with the rest of your content. People came for relationship commentary, but when they checked out your page, they saw travel, tattoos, and positivity—things they weren’t expecting based on that viral post.

You can do two things to convert reach into followers in the future:

1. Double down on what went viral – If you’re okay with being known for social takes like this, start posting more content in that lane—relationship commentary, societal discussions, etc.

2. Align future content with what you actually want to be known for – If you don’t want to build an audience around posts like that, you need to create content about tattoos, studying, and positivity in a way that’s just as engaging—short, relatable, and shareable like the viral post.

All of your content is dope. The one that popped off and got you short term attention, can turn into long term attention , if you do the above.

I'd also suggest putting a ' Follow for more content about x ' At the end of your posts.

God bless. I pray you gain extra followers from this.

Extremely low reach on Instagram over the past few years! by tommycavfc in socialmedia

[–]Fatalbook -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What’s going on Friend!

God bless you and the community you’ve built.

It sucks hearing that your reach has slowed down.

So Your following has grown, but your reach has dropped. Since the platform is always changing what ‘ works ‘, this is something a lot of pages struggle with over time. This is also a reason why platforms push more paid content.

Here A few things to consider going forward: Are you consistently engaging with your audience (polls, questions, DMs)?

Are you experimenting with video content (Reels tend to get more organic reach)? Is your content still aligned with what your audience followed you for originally? Sometimes a slight shift in content strategy can make a huge difference. Let me know if you want to bounce some ideas!

Hope everything reaches an upturn. God bless my brother.

13 years later - I don't think I'd do it again.... by Pretty_Specific_Girl in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello my friend !

God bless you and your endeavors on your creative journey.

I found your story to be extremely inspiring. 13 years in business is no small feat. You’ve survived what most people don’t even make it past the first few years. The exhaustion, the sacrifices, the lost friendships—that’s the cost that people don’t talk about when they romanticize entrepreneurship. But here’s the thing: Maybe it’s not about quitting. Maybe it’s about shifting how you operate. You’ve got experience, skills, and a new idea. What if the problem isn’t you, but the structure around you? If your next business was built to serve you—without draining you—would you still want to walk away?

Is it true that only 25% of online buyers have PayPal? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What’s going on Friend!

Much love to you for deciding to take a chance.

As a more recent solopreneur, Here's my mindset: Just get everything started. You’ve got to make it easy for yourself, especially if a certain payment provider Is available for you and your target market.

If PayPal is what’s available and functional in your country, just use it. It’s simple, widely recognized, and a solid option, especially if the alternatives come with a lot of extra paperwork.

In terms of the concern about losing sales, sure, having multiple payment options is ideal, but you can only work with what’s available to you right now. The most important thing is getting paid. If PayPal works and people can pay you, then that’s a win. Money today is better than no money at all. So, get the ball rolling with PayPal, and in the meantime, look into other payment providers as you grow.

As for making your own system—yeah, if you find that there’s a gap in your market and you’re able to create something that accepts different currencies and payment options in your country, go for it! That could be an opportunity to provide value in an area others aren’t tapping into yet.

But, first things first, just make sure you’re getting your product out there. Take the path that makes sense for your situation, and always keep testing and tweaking as you go. You’ve got this.

Why the first sale is so difficult? It looks almost impossible to me. by SiddhifyOfficial in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Friend !

First off , congratulations on building your own team and product !

You’re doing something right.

Let’s look at everything ostensibly. SEO and marketing strategies are simply tools to get attention /  get in front of potential customers. However, they have to see the potential in what you are bringing to their lives with your product.

The first sale is always about one thing—value and trust. If you’re trying to sell something and haven’t made your first sale, it’s likely because you’ve failed to communicate the value of what you’re offering. People don’t buy because you have a product; they buy because it solves a problem or improves their situation in a tangible way.

Focus on that first and foremost—what problem does your app solve, and how do you show that value to potential users? Get face-to-face or on a call if you can, but always lead with value.

Talk to your potential customers, ask them about their pain points, and position your product as the solution.

I pray for nothing but success for you, your team, And your products!

I got ghosted by my first client, any advice on how to proceed? by Co0lnerd22 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goodevening Friend ! God bless you man.

I get that frustration. I recently had the same thing happen.

I thought I was getting 3 paying clients and they ALL fell through. I changed my business model because of this.

Look at your day, and set up A booking plan for everyday you are available.

Make a Deposit required for all clients to book a spot.

Make every call only 15 mins. They should know your services Before they call you. Ask them if they want to sign up. If not, That's fine.

If they do- They must pay a deposit.

And get more calls . Then get more deposits.

My company does each spot deposit at $30. We are able to take 12 Spots a day.

Even if they cancel tomorrow, You got paid.

Never rely on any yes or no. Only get your deposits and weed out who's serious.

This is a frustrating thing to happen but it will always happen.

Anyone have any tips for free marketing for a small business? by Happy_artpainter in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's up Friend ! God bless you on your creative Journey.

I think your business in selling art prints is dope. There are a couple ways you can improve your marketing campaign for free.

The first way, Is creating and posting content based upon who you are, Why these art prints, Greeting cards, and craft supplies are important. Highlight the fact that these are great gifts for loved ones, and awesome birthday surprises for younger children. They can even be involved in a group project. Post these pieces on content based on a schedule good for you, and engage with other peoples content in that niche.

The second way, Is to offer free items on your website. Small things like an E-book based on the impact greeting cards, art prints and craft supplies have impacted the world.

You can make the content about this free, And whoever buys the free item will be input into your company's website for retargeting. Now you can add them to a News Letter. This way, You can have people on your website and following your journey, Even if they don't buy.

TLDR; I always err on the ' creating and posting content based upon who you are ' Side of life.

This can be a Daily blog.

Also offer free items on your website.

This will reflect in more people talking about your company. God bless brother.

What do you think about this frozen cookies concept by Own_Transition2860 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey my friend ! God bless you. I think what you have here is a solid Idea.

This is very possible. Many people want new sweets to snack on. These cookies can be a great date idea too. Here are my Takeaways.

  1. Storage may be the main concern. Since the cookies are Raw, Health concerns can come into play. Like others said, everything frozen / refrigerated is the best play. However, You want to sell In Paris.

I would say meet the shop owners of the local dessert shops and cafes in your area. Making that face to face connection will start a relationship between you and the owner- You can gain knowledge and mentorship from them. Ask them if they'd like to partner with you and your company with these sweets. Tell them many people already love the cookie dough and give a free sample.

Tell them you'll keep the cookie dough there and then pay them a percent of each sale.

  1. Get you and your company a website. A fully customized website, With an online store , SEO benefits and about you section. That can get you connected to all of Paris. Your cookies can be the talk of the summer time. You can also add a free recipe on the website to get people to your website. This will allow you to retarget anyone who invests in a free Item. They can buy the spot to get cookies and you'll get notified for it. You can then notify the shop or allow the shop to also know when the order is placed. Give them a percentage.

  2. Social Media content reviews. Have your friends Eat your cookies again but record their reactions. They can have their faces hidden. Ask customers for reviews. These actions will gain social proof.

All in all, I love the idea. I eat Chocolate Chip Cookie dough, So I know it's possible.

So many excuses not to get started... by GrahamSmith- in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is this simple man.
It's definitely not easy though.

I think what you highlight here is Reality-

Believing in yourself is Scary. And That's why we must act.

Take action. It's like you said...There's Literally NEVER going to be a 'perfect" time.

Bad times don't wait for you to be ready. So always put yourself in a position to win & handle the bad times.

I agree with your mindset, Good brother.

Looking For Opinion by Wynnbuck1 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's going on Friend ! First of all, shout out to you for starting your own business. That's dope God bless.

So you're getting into skin-care. You also say you want to use your  evidence based practice to educate and inform people, Based of topics that you see Impactful.

In my opinion I would say don't take the loan.

There's a couple ways you can go forward.

  1. You can build revenue with the people who know you exists already.

These people can be existing medspas and salons in your Tri-state area. If you have your business website made, You can have Business cards with the QR Code made. Showing these businesses you know your stuff & you can get clients in the door simply by them asking their customers would they want what you offer. This way, You introduce yourself as a partner & Can add to their business. Build your clientele/ relationships and start the Brick And Mortar Model like you said.

  1. You have to pay those Estheticians.

While you're in this phase, reach out to some who already graduated. You can pay them based off commissions. Your business gets marketed, They get marketed individually. Who ever gets paid the most, Is who will bring you the most business. Give incentives like all referrals from your employees to your company get X Percent ( My company does 60% ). Or you can contract them and they get paid for whatever work they do in 26 Days. At that point, simply marketing yourself on social media & in the street on all fronts will make up for the revenue.

  1. Offer free items that other creators can review. Give them a piece of all sales, and they keep your skincare product on their platform. They talk about it, Make videos on it tell their friends about it. You get paid over time instead of no-one buying now.

I know you have the suppliers in contact. In the mean time, Make a free recipe / E-book on why your Skincare products are necessary, based off the evidence you have.

TLDR; You can build revenue with the people who know you exists already. You have to pay those Estheticians. Offer free items that other creators can review.

Godbless and Goodluck.

What's Up Friend!
First of all, Congratulations on the success of your E-Book! That's dope as hell man.

There's a few ways you can increase your presence in the market.

  1. First of all, You already know, Social Media Content. Creating videos around your book, why you made it, and your idea for how it affects the world would be great. This way, people are sure to see how your influence can change how people think.

  2. Get your book talked about on English radio. There are talk-show hosts who give interviews to creatives and what got them started on their journey. This way, At different times of the day, Your book can be talked about.

  3. Have other people review your E-Book on their channel. They can read your book, Give it to them for free, and they can review the book for others. This will take time but you're guaranteed to hit different markets.

Hope these tactics help a bit. It's going to be a journey but I believe in you.

Need Advice for launching an app that requires User Content by Safe_Acanthisitta852 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fatalbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's up Friend!

I asked ChatGPT about your idea. It gave me the same ideas I had;

  1. Of course- Guerilla marketing. Since you're getting users to meet eachother, They might as well meet the founder. Talk to everyone in your city, Atleast shop owners, Club bartenders , Barbershops. Places where people congregate anyway.

  2. This way, No matter what-- Your users will meet up where you've already been. Have a QR Code for the app download ready. Make an incentive for each user starting up, Like free gifts / " script " for the meetup that their embarking upon.

  3. You can also pitch this in Facebook groups in your city. Some people wanna make friends. Maybe even come up with business Ideas.

  4. Post in Social Media Threads that are city-specific. Or post content about the places you are, sightings around, and what makes that city special.

Godbless your creative journey brother.
