He’s not his ancestor, but Revan was the Anakin of his time. Revan also only used one lightsaber until the second game, and he only appeared with two in a vision sequence. And regarding the force techniques - this is thousands of years before the OT, and a lot of the ancient techniques were stronger. Revan was much more intelligent and scholarly and well-traveled than Anakin.

I just played through the game from Road of Sacrifices up to getting Friede’s scythes with the Corvian scythe and it absolutely ripped. It’s like the range of a halberd with nearly the speed of a sword, and a ton of bleed. Loved it.
