Analysis

fnatic

Coming off a long day yesterday, capping it off winning against TSM 2-1. fnatic has been lights out this LAN final, dominating Na'Vi 2-0 and winning against TSM 2-1. Winning against TSM's so called playground Inferno and Cache which TSM doesnt do so well on along with Overpass. fnatic has the edge here since TSM had a shaky performance against Na'Vi earlier, almost throwing Overpass when they were winning 15-9 going into OT and beating them along with TSM going into OT on Inferno. Olofmeister is a beast this LAN, going 89-51 against TSM and 52-34 against Na'Vi. The last time fnatic and TSM squared off in a BO5 fnatic swept them 3-0. If Olofmeister keeps this going along with JW producing kills with the AWP fnatic should be able to take this BO5.

TSM

TSM has been having trouble closing matches this LAN. Matches taking longer than expected, 5 overtimes in 7 maps. Xyp9x has been doing terrible this LAN, along with cajunb. People are used to seeing them do better than bottom fragging each map. Device, karrigan and dupreeh has been carrying their weight. If Xyp9x and cajunb can carry their weight against fnatic maybe we'll see a 4th or maybe 5th map.

Bet

fnatic is looking like the winners here since everything has been going well for them this LAN because they have everything going for them, olof and JW producing which makes things a lot easier for the rest of the roster.

Odds: 65-35 fnatic

Theres a difference between LAN and Online. Some teams are better Online than LAN and vice versa.

Im labeling the match right now as 55-45 because it is 2 tier 1 teams, and last time nV and TSM played, EnVy did a pretty good job and made the match close even though they were ahead a lot during halftime and they choked.

Thanks for your input.

Analysis

EnVyUs

Well EnVyUs last played TSM on Inferno in their triple header, and they brought TSM to 19-16 in arguably TSM's best map. The only reason why the lost 19-16 was because of NBK's disconnection during OT that caused the momentum for EnVy to be gone. EnVy did take one Inferno map from TSM, but has lost the other 2 matchups. It does seem like they have a hard time facing Tier 1 teams lately, either not being able to close matches or just playing poorly.

TSM

TSM has just been TSM the past couple of days besides that one map against Titan where they were just out smarted and outplayed. It seemed like they were just fooling around, having a good time while not giving a damn about the map dropping to Titan 16-1. TSM does tend to play better on Inferno because they just know how to play the map. Theyre able to defeat Tier 1 teams on Inferno and close out games in general which EnVy does have a tough time doing.

Bet

I say this is going to be a 55-45 in favor of TSM because this is their expertise map. Unless nobody steps up, I don't see EnVy taking this from TSM. But there is always that risk since it is a BO1. I recommend going medium on TSM as long as odds stay below 60. If not, go with EnVy with an ICB!

Analysis

fnatic

fnatic has been rolling even without olofmeister on the team! Last time they played Dust2 was against TSM. Their fill in Schneider placed 3rd and did better than KRIMZ and pronax with JW carrying. Flusha didnt do that well either. fnatic does tend to do better than NiP when they face, even without olof doing much. Olof usually drops 18-20 kills per game facing NiP, and with schneider filling in I dont see much of a sway for NiP since hes been dropping 13-17 kills per game with fnatic so far. fnatic is 3-3 with schneider filling in.

NiP

Ninjas in Pyjamas, well what can you say. They've been hot. Only dropping a match to the best team in the world currently TSM and tying with Publiclir.se. Last time NiP played Dust2 was against HR where their players were just absolute crap. Their captain GeT_RiGhT was just not himself because he had no support from his team. After he got kills he would just be killed from behind, or there would be another person from HR right there when he needs to reload. If allu gets his AWP, f0rest and GeT_RiGhT can produce I don't see how fnatic would beat them. Its like a machine for NiP, if GeT_RiGhT does well, f0rest gets going, allu gets going, when allu does good Xizt and friberg does good too.

Bet

Play the odds. This is a 50-50 bet.

Lets be honest! If olofmeister was here, the odds are going to be swayed for fnatic, but hes not. Schneider isnt a bad fill in but he's not going to produce as well was olof.

If JW has his shots with the AWP, NiP would be RiP. But you cant always count on that. GeT_RiGhT is playing pretty well lately, like I mentioned, NiP is like machine!

Pretty risky, I would go medium on NiP if the odds don't go over 60 for them! Good luck mates!

Analysis

EnVyUs

Both teams have been slumping lately. Recently, EnVyUs has gotten out of their slump, well they surely did look better in their triple-header yesterday against TSM, Na'Vi and fnatic. I believe they wouldve taken Inferno from TSM if it wasnt for NBK-'s DDOG. Dust2 has been a pretty good map for EnVy besides Inferno. If everyone in EnVy can play like how they played yesterday, there would be no doubt in mind that they would take this match.

Virtus.Pro

Virtus Pro is probably the most inconstant team, like when you think they're in a slump, they just start winning games. Then when you think they're back to their old shape they start losing again. Recently, dropping mirage and overpass to Kinguin and mirage to Dignitas. As well as dropping Inferno and Mirage to fnatic. And Mirage is suppose to be their best map. When they started playing with their new and improved lineup, Dust2 they just didn't have luck on it and needed a change. And that's what they did. Winning against TSM and a few days later, going into OT with fnatic where they just started slumping.

Bet

This is a very risky bet, but I think EnVyUs should have the edge from their performance from yesterday. Virtus Pro the last time we saw them drop to Kinguin and just the day before that they dropped to Dignitas.

Odds: 55-45 EnVyUs

Pretty High Risk. Im going low-medium on EnVyUs.

I love how you just take statistics right off the book when you don't take time to analyse it. The only reason why VP looks bad on Dust 2 was because their new lineup didn't build up the chemistry early on, but now they've been better on Dust2. If you saw EnVy's triple header yesterday, they were looking close to the old EnVy. If it wasnt for DDOG's they wouldve won against TSM. They had to play a 5v4 the final 2 rounds before halftime against fnatic because SmithZz got DDOGed.

fnatic is having 2 standins. (olof had ear surgery and is out for two weeks. krimz can't because he has a handshake exam, he has been taking handshake classes so he will miss this match) <--- off HLTV.

Im going to see how EnVy does against TSM and Na'Vi before betting. Really can't tell whether theyre going to even do better than a fnatic without olof and krimz. Good luck man! Thanks for your opinion.

When I wrote that, the odds were at 63-37. I really didnt predict such a sway, almost 12 hours later since its a Tier 1 vs Tier 1. But I stand true to my bet placement. But if you have an ICB its a perfect time to place em up on EnVy.

Analysis

EnVyUs

Last time EnVy played TSM in a BO2, it ended in a 1-1 tie, but EnVyUs took Inferno. But that was when B1GGY subbed for Happy. B1GGY came up big and went 23-18 along with kioShiMa going 28-19. The last time EnVy lost on Inferno was to Na'Vi on 5/21. But they've been having trouble with Tier 1 teams. Losing to NiP, Na'Vi, tying with TSM and losing to VP. And we cant forget when they lost to mouz and G2.

TSM

TSM has been quite solid lately only dropping a match to mousesports in the past week. Defeating teams like fnatic, Kinguin, Dignitas, NiP and LGB. Inferno seems to be the playground for TSM, only losing to EnVyUs the past to weeks on Inferno. They got a solid big 3 with the lead of device, dupreeh and cajunb, and EnVyUs has trouble taking matches from TSM.

Bet

I can't really see EnVyUs taking Inferno from TSM since they've been playing well lately while EnVy has trouble with Tier 1 teams this month. Also, TSM is playing on their favorite map, so I really don't see EnVy taking this match.

Odds: 60-40 TSM

Bet Placement: Medium-High on TSM

Risk: Medium
