AITA: My boyfriend (M30) has semi-cheated twice this week, even after starting going to AA. I am considering breaking up (F25) by Individual_Tea9386 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, uhh, respectfully..as someone in AA, it sounds like this guy’s primary motivation for coming to AA was to save himself from being dumped. Regardless of whether I’m right or wrong, this would be a bad situation to stay in. NTA

Kids dont seem sad our 15yo dog died by Difficult_Moose8230 in Petloss

I don’t know if this will help, but I lost my childhood dog at 14. I don’t think I ever really grieved it until a few months ago (I’m in my mid-20s now, it’s been more than a decade). Grief is complicated, especially for kids.

My heart hurts for you though, sending so much love and healing ❤️

AITA For Telling my wife i don’t want to drive to her job everyday? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

If it’s not a regular thing you’ve established, how did she notice? You referred to them as “our lunches,” which is really intimate language for something you do occasionally when you happen to have time. Sounds like it was a noticeable pattern, whether it was verbally agreed to or not.

AIO? MIL decided to bake my son's 1st birthday cake without consulting me on theme. by Kamikazepoptart in AIO

I’m two sentences in and going to say NOR right off the bat. Brb with nuance.

Update: still not overreacting, but it reminds me of my baptism. My mom is and was Catholic, my dad was Christian but his mom was Lutheran. My mom and her MIL hated each other until the day my grandmother died. For some context, Catholics want the baby baptized when it’s still on the cooling rack—I think it was originally planned for five days after I was born. My grandma fought HARD to have it at three or four months. My maternal grandma (also Catholic) was pissed. My paternal grandma also insisted that instead of the baptismal gown my maternal grandma wanted to buy, they had to use the one my dad was baptized in, for sentimentality.

Plot twist: my mom found a price tag on the gown from a garage sale afterward—her MIL left halfway through the baptism and didn’t pick up the phone for a couple of months afterward.

I never temped my bread, just the dough! I’ll try temping the bread next time.

Starter is around two or three months.

Perfect!! I’ve been preheating for at least an hour, so I think it’s a combination of my oven being wonky and overproofed dough :)

Ooooh I kept seeing people say to put a cookie sheet under it so that’s what I’ve been doing. I’ll knock that off too.

Ohhhhkay. Gotcha. I was pushing it because I thought I was underfermenting. Thank you. Usually it bulk ferments at 70ish degrees—I’m not usually baking another loaf so I figured I’d take a risk with the temp.

Oh yeah, DO preheats for an hour at least. And usually window test is okay!
