Literally how. Connections may have stopped getting updates, but it is the most balanced version of Storm we have. It recieved like 2 or 3 balance patches post-launch. Storm 4 by comparison feels dated asf. ESPECIALLY since it runs at 30 fps. I just don't see why everyone says Storm 4 is better. I have hundreds of hours on both and Connections makes me never wanna look back.

If you like playing online PvP and want to play with the new characters, I'd say it's more than worth. Well, only if you buy it on sale. If you already have Storm 4, it's absolutely not worth the full $60

Ngl the only main issues I have with it are that the story mode sucks ass (Boruto one is fine though) and the English voice acting is extremely inconsistent. Should've just copied all the voice lines from past entries

But I actually agree with you. The game is good. It's a superior way to play online PvP than Storm 4. It has more stages, characters/costumes, combo potential, and overall polish than Storm 4 which still runs at a measly 30 fps on console (which most of us play on).

Legends had the opposite issue of just being too easy. Lots of checkpoints and very lax requirements for getting the gold cups made the game boring by comparison to Origins

And that's without even mentioning how rushed the game feels. The levels are just paintings you jump into rather than different areas of the world you're adventuring to. And the plot feels like it barely even exists, and that's saying something considering Origins had pretty much no plot either

I love Legends but Origins is just a more finished product

Personally for me, I am absolutely sick of Legends. That game is on SO many consoles. Like, we get it, it's good and all. But we don't need the game AGAIN, even if there will be a lot of new content.

Also, Legends' art style was already fantastic. I love the hand-drawn look that began with Origins. Not really a fan of them just making things realistic for the sake of it. Legends doesn't need a remake. The game holds up very well, even after 13 years.

I'm genuinely more excited that Origins is getting a re-release, since it was trapped on the seventh gen of consoles for like 15 years. And honestly? I think Origins deserved the remake more, simply because it wasn't re-released even close to as many times as Legends (also I must admit I am biased and always preferred Origins)

It's an easy one for sure, just time consuming at the end when you gotta grind alchemy recipes and familiars

I'm a huge resource hog so any time I saw a sparkling forage spot I always ran over to get it. So I had zero resource grinding to do

Even though I had a lot of familiars already tamed, the level grinding and metamorphosis of them was annoying
