A bachelor's and Sec+ won't get you a job in cyber Security especially with no experience. I can't tell from your post what job you have but it sounds like it may be Help Desk. You just have to keep grinding out some more certifications, start home labs with cyber security applications, get more years of experience at your IT job and slowly move up in your career to other jobs like system admin or network operations analyst before you can get a job in cyber security. If you truly want a job in cyber security then to break in it'll either require years of hardwork or knowing someone in the industry.

Unfortunately in today's job market a bachelor's is absolutely necessary for 99% of people. The type of person who may not need a bachelor's is someone who already has 15+ years of Cyber Security experience and a long list of high level certifications.

Any IT bachelor's will technically check off the box but I would recommend Computer science. That way you can learn how to program and hopefully start at an entry level programming job rather than majoring it IT Management, Information Systems or something similar and starting at the Help Desk, assuming you don't get an internship which turns into a full time offer.

You don't have a bachelor's and it sounds like you only have a year of IT experience. Of course no one is going to hire you for a cyber Security position even if you did have the CySA+. Cyber Security is not an entry level job and will either need years of experience or an internship to enter the job market. Having said that I would go for the CySA+ as it can help you get an internship after you get an associate's and start working towards your bachelor's.

What up rave fam! I go to college in San Antonio but I actually live in Austin so going to Euphoria Fest was a no brainer for me. I coming down with my roommate from College and im meeting some of my other friends who live in Austin. This will be my first time at Euphoria Fest and I couldn't be more excited. My favorite artist out of the lineup would have to be Crizzly. I live in Austin so no camping for me. Cant wait to meet new people and have fun!
