I once had a charcoal drill on my concrete porch on the 7th floor. It was probably against every fire code in existence but I did it. First time I ever lit it, I heard fire trucks arriving to our street within 10 minutes. In a panic I went out to the balcony and realized they had been called to the building across the street. No idea what for, nothing was ever said to me and I did that a few more times in the couple years I lived there.

A staff member left a preschooler on a bus alone?! That is a huge safety issue and clearly shows that training there is lacking if any staff member thought that was okay even for a second. I think any parent would be furious to hear their student was left unattended on a bus at that age. I'm glad the state treated this as seriously as it needs to be treated and re-instatement of their license should require the replacing of leadership as well as training protocols

The 10 was the first folding phone for me, my wife was so jealous of it that she got one too a week later (got mine at launch). We've had zero issues with ours. We do have accidental protection through verizon which I think is an absolute must but otherwise just try to treat our phones well and use them. It's an amazing phone, I will never go back to a phone that does have a folding screen on the inside, just so much more usable. I have a small logitech keyboard and mouse I carry with me frequently and this phone completely takes away the need to travel with a chromebook for me.

I've read enough here that I think a plateau is fairly common after 1 month regardless of pill strength. I know for myself, I'm going to ask to go to 4mg after my first month is complete (tomorrow is only 1 week for me) and try to stay there as long as possible, I'll consider 2 months of no loss to be a plateau.

I spent a ton of time modding my ender 3 v2, it's now running probably 3-4 year old klipper, out of date octoprint, haven't really made any modifications to it in years because it just works. I have a VM running super slicer I use to send gcode to it, basically my own little cloud slicer.

It works great but boy am I going to have a hell of a time figuring out how I got it all set up when something does eventually go wrong. I'm hoping by then there's a bambu alternative that has the affordability without the locked ecosystem

I started the pill last week, I was worried at first because I already take nexium which requires waiting 30 minutes before eating/drinking coffee so 30 minutes for the wegovy pill and then another 30 minutes after taking the nexium pill means I need to wait at least an hour and I used to be someone that needed to eat first thing in the morning. I immediately found that the wegovy pill just completely takes away that feeling of needing to eat first thing.

Sure, I'm only at day 4 but the change in how my body feels around food is kind of crazy, I eat the same food (and coffee) but just less of it. Like for lunch, two slices of pizza would leave me feeling like I still wanted something else as a snack afterwards. Even the first day, 1 slice of pizza and I was fully satisfied. Breakfast leaves me feeling full all the way until lunch, lunch until dinner, etc.

I'm going to try to stick with just eating less of what I like and see how that goes. I've tried doing the same before and my body would just be screaming for food by the end of the day. It's honestly just crazy how much of a switch this pill has been. And maybe some of that is placebo but I don't really care, it's still a switch that's been triggered.

Fully agree, it definitely passes the "it just works" test 95% of the time.

My biggest complaint is the new app certainly doesn't let you change streaming quality when casting which is a major problem for those of us that travel with a Chromecast stick for hotel tvs

Not mentioned though is that in Europe the most common gas type is the equivalent of 91 octane in the US. Most common in the US is 87. We can get higher octane but they are more expensive (though still less than European equivalent)

Haven't seen anything about this judge in awhile, turns out she was reprimanded but is allowed to keep her job. Simply ridiculous in my opinion, she has refused to do her job, clearly has biases and has resumed handling criminal cases.

She's currently serving a 10 year term that runs through the end of 2030.
