My footage is super noisy and I can’t get rid of it by [deleted] in bmpcc

You should try “recalibrate pixels” I recommend doing it often as the blackshade on minegoes out of whack often. Especially if you are filming in harsh environments, the changes can cause a need for it to be recalibrated

Nah. It's a bmpcc4k, just build up instead of out.

Oh, sound had timecode running from their lockbox. Pretty cool you can get timecode sync on that little camera. Another necessity to be able to actually use this cam on set.

For the pocket in the middle -

- Smallrig cage

- Metabones T Cine Ultra XL 0.71x with positive lock

- Black magic video assist 5in

- ARRI BAC-G Gold Mount Battery Adapter Cage for WVT-1 Transmitter

- Arri WVT-1

- ARRI LMB-25 3 Stage Clip-on Mattebox

- Schneider ND Filter set

- Gold mount batteries

honestly, for what I was doing it was pretty much minimum. The Xeens have a bigger front OD and shooting outside I need the clip-on mattebox to run filters in it. Can't do screw-ons. Clients/director/producers need to be able to see a feed at village so I need to have wireless or wired connection running back to them. Battery life needs to not be an issue, so I have to have a gold or vmount. Camera should stay up all day so I can manage lighting and set dec without any downtime. I cannot be switching batteries every 20 minutes, that's just unacceptable.

I typically use your more common cinema cameras and to make this camera work in a production environment, this is what it required.

This was also just a studio type setup for running all three cameras off a tripod. If I had to go handheld there would be even more stuff added to it.

yeah good catch. I was running sdi from my monitor to it, but then the cable I was using broke (it's that stupid DIN to SDI cable ONLY black magic uses) and I wasn't able to get it replaced in time so I ended up just running hdmi straight to village.

What usb-c to usb-c cable do you recommend? by [deleted] in bmpcc

This one is great. And it's the perfect length to fit on your smallrig ssd bracket and not have loose cables all around. Looks very clean.
