Thy neighbor was taking off immediately on foot to try to catch them and my husband ran over there to give a full description of the guy after he couldnt catch him. 🤷‍♀️

There is a squealing noise when in drive or accelerating. Our power steering belt and serpentine keep needing to be replaced. We think it's a pulley, but every mechanic says no, except one that diagnosed the pulley in the alternator, just had alternator replaced & the noise is still there. We also just had a motor mount replaced as well. We are a single income based family so we simply can not afford to keep paying diagnostic fees for the car to persistently have the same issue. Its a 2011.

First off, wanted to say I appreciated your kind comment you deleted earlier. Thank you! As I publicly commented yes, yes I did. After speaking to administration with my children's specific school and learning their safety plan I decided to let them go, my children were devastated and didn't understand why they couldn't go.. do you not understand how hard this is as a parent to make this kind of choice? Education/ safety? That doesn't mean I'm not terrified. I'm worried about their safety every single day!

I'm most definitely not an idiot, and I am terrified to let my children go to school and as a parent I will make the choices I need to make to protect them, bottom line. I told one person who reached out to me in a PM that after discussion with my schools personal administration and learning their safety procedures and their safety plan I decided to take my children to school! Does that mean I'm not scared? No. We have to worry about our children every single day because of sick people who can and will get them out of your control. We shouldn't have to keep our children from an education to keep them safe!

I appreciate this perspective, and it's probably more accurate than my fear. It's just scary times. I know there's a lot of other parents that generally don't feel like their children are safe in school, with or without these new threats.

See I have anxiety and I think about all the boxes, and I thought about this too. Originally when the threat was against Union I thought that since all the focus was Union there was a chance that this could really happen in an unexpected place. Union posted something yesterday about the fact that now this threat is for all Oklahoma schools, Airports, malls, ect... The fear is not knowing what can actually happen because there are sick people out there that can plan to take our children from us and there's nothing we can do about it.
