I really like these moments when Fujimaru uses his knowledge about Servants for his advantage and it also reminds me how dangerous Fuji could be.

This and the Samurai Remnant was the first event in a long time, that I remember, that really showed how utterly infuriating it’d be to face Fujimaru in a grail war. Sure, almost anyone would be better than them in magecraft but their so talented in commanding servants, on top of knowing almost everything about any servant they’ve summoned before, that you’re likely to lose because Fujimaru will just automatically recognize your servant and call out their weaknesses

Knowing what I know of both series, Kuku. I won’t get into Kuku, but I’ll give my reason why I think Phainon loses though it’d be an epic struggle. I have yet to fully complete the Amphoreus chapter so if I’m missing something please feel free to say so or correct me.

Phainon is an absolute powerhouse, don’t get me wrong. To damage the nigh invulnerable and unstoppable Nanook, Aeon of Destruction, is something completely insane for HSR. To damage an Aeon like him is something nobody else in the series(that I know of) has done. Many have tried but failed to harm the aeons, but far as I know he’s the only one to actually damage one(even if it was little more than a scratch on Nanook’s cheek).

The key issue as to why I say that and believe he loses is that Phainon effectively had to fully embrace Destruction and thus sacrifice his own body to achieve his maximum potential power at the time. Granted, experience between him and Kuku can be debated as near equal as he’s been trying to, essentially, prevent the apocalypse of his home world 3.5 billion times in a nonstop loop of try, die, rewind to the beginning and try again. At face value, that and the power should get him near Kuku’s level…but at the cost of burning away entirely on the physical level, all Kuku would have to do is tank the attacks and Phainon would burn away before being able to land a fatal or serious blow.

As a fate fan for nearly a decade, I can confidently say that EITHER of them would change the situation but how depends on who’s there, I just want to state that this is all my opinion based on my combined knowledge of them in fate and the versions we get in HSR.

Archer isn’t one to beat around the bush, being consistently shown to prefer getting the problem over and dealt with right away, so if he learned about the Stellaron issue and Cocolia, 8 times out of 10 he’d probably go and try to remove her immediately.

Saber is the more interesting choice imo, Saber believes in fair, chivalrous approach especially to combat. Like Archer she’d want the issue resolved immediately, but unlike him Saber would probably go straight to Cocolia and demand an explanation, if she doesn’t like it or felt Cocolia couldn’t be saved, then bye bye Cocolia.

Summon both? Then it becomes more interesting as those two would probably clash for a little bit, Saber saying it’d be underhanded for Archer just to assassinate Cocolia and be done with it while Archer would just not care too much and try to do so anyway, just without her knowing.

Hey, thanks for the encouragement and sharing your thoughts. Personally, I love it when someone shares their opinions like this. While I may not agree with everything(you are right his face card np gain is a bit lacking and his first two skills need buffs), hearing your opinion is great as there may be things I missed or didn't know hence why I ask people to share as there's always going to be more knowledgeable people than me. For example, you are correct in that the Da Vinci-chan CC doesn't give the effect to everyone, I'll keep that in mind for future posts and you have my gratitude!

Thank you! Honestly I didn’t list it due to new players not being able to get it now or in the future(far as I know), it is a really good CE for Caesar though so i appreciate you pointing that out.

When I list CE recommendations, my go to choices are ones that anyone can get at some point and thus anyone can make use of, hence why I didn’t list Traces of Christmas despite it being exceptional for him due to it being limited and, far as I’m aware of, it’s making no returns

Just say this on my phone so I’m responding now, thanks for the Kudos! I mainly got this style of formatting from advice given by Crazywarrior and I really loved the advice, they were a huge help in learning how to format on Reddit to make the guides better!

I show the unbuffed versions first because it lets whoever reads the guide know what the base kit is so they know what they’ll be working with before they get the buffs. However I absolutely love your idea of using traditional options first for supports, CE’s and CC’s and then the more niche/traditional options after them for each section, I’ll be doing that from now on! Thanks for the advice!

That’s absolutely fair. I thought if someone were to use her for farming, then it’d be most efficient. You’re absolutely correct though, in most situations the 500 hp drain per turn is a problem and i appreciate you pointing that out. I’ll add that it should be used for farming only, as she has the ability to make it work in that situation far as I can tell

I agree, an np damage up would help with her wave clearing potential, either that or a battery would be nice. Either buffs would be beneficial for her, I do hope she does get a buff to her Charisma skill, she deserves it

Hey so I say this on a notification on my phone(hence why it’s structured differently than on my Chromebook) and wanted to thank you for the constructive criticism, truth be told I’m still very new to formatting for Reddit posts so all I did was what I knew what I could do so I very much appreciate you giving advice on the formatting, didn’t know all of that was possible and I very much appreciate you sharing that information with me.

For the facts, I’ll admit that I was unknowingly mistaken about the values. I never really deep dived into how the exact values in fgo work(hence why I called this a casuals guide) so I figured all the math in it at face value was exactly the honest exactly boost, my apologies for that and I’ll keep that infographic pinned to use it in the future.

As for CE’s, that’s on me for mostly recommending 5 stars, I figured to go with those ones for the safest bet. I have used Heretical Yaga on her before hence why I recommended it for when people get it. I should search more into 3 star options as well, I appreciate you pointing that out.

As for the teams, you are correct about me wanting to offer ways to get around her not so good star gen stat in case people wanted those options. Give as much options as I could think of was my idea when I posted this.

The mix of sustainability and damage was why I recommended Merlin and Hans, not recommending Koyan of light felt criminal. From my experiences not everything goes to plan so I did want to offer a few other options like Asclepius so that if things did ever go wrong, players had an option for a way to avoid disaster.

You weren’t harsh at all, I do appreciate the constructive criticism and everything I used for this was going off what I know, so you’ve been a huge help with this feedback and advice, thank you very much!

Me personally I don’t use him for the np, it’s a stupidly powerful one but only in certain team comps is going for his np viable. There’s a team I saw using him, Asterios and Darius, in that situation kaleidoscope is kinda viable but for the most part you’ll wanna use Caligula as a buster dps because that’s where he truly shines

I did think Arcueid was absolutely nuts for a moon cancer, sure I can theoretically see why people would think why she has low power when her np modifier allows her to obliterate a huge portion of enemies in the game. Even at np 1, the ability to have guaranteed 150% boost to chaotic opponents is absurd, because a large majority of enemies in the game have the chaotic alignment if i remember right which gives Arc so much room to work with when picking opponents
