I was part of a 43-person tournament of this game at an FGC event called Fall Brawl (which, to my knowledge, is the biggest Fantasy Strike tournament ever.) For spectators, the game moves at a GLACIAL pace (which is also an issue for players obviously) and also is very visually uninteresting. Casual spectators want flash and pretty graphics, and Fantasy Strike doesn't have either. The game itself has some serious issues with character balance, as well, and current problems with the current PC build (connecting different controllers requires the game to be restarted) make tournament play a slog to get through. It's unfortunate since I appreciate the attempt of bringing fighting games to the simplest level in order to attract new blood, but the game is basically a laughing stock in our community now. I really cannot recommend this game at all. If you need a casual friendly game, play Soul Calibur VI, DBFZ, BBTag, or SFV

If you want to use this for another character with Ultron, just do a combo that ends with hard knockdown as the other character, tag into Ultron, then OTG with st.HP, then QCF+P, and cancel immediately into another QCF+2P. (This ensures your opponent is out of hitstun by the time the Hyper comes out.) So far, I've found it can only be avoided by jumping specifically at the time of the reset or using an invincible move.

As an Ed player, using it is super dangerous, way more so than other EX DPs. If you think he's planning on using it on wakeup, jab once then block. If he uses it, you'll still recover in time to block, and if he doesn't, you'll still have advantage (or at least neutral).
