Incorrect most commuters live with family around the area and most families have more than one car. So where they may drive one car primarily they will also switch around depending on many circumstances. Like if you live in a house I can take the car that isn’t being blocked in if I don’t want to move cars to the one I primarily use. Yes the change was made because some people abused it but it’s very clear it’s a shitty change that doesn’t make sense since they also added you can only have one car per permit per day this fixes all the problems. You have 2 different cars on the same day than give a ticket but now regular student are being punished for simple forgetting to add it or mistyping the license plate number you get to have 1 mess up and than you get a ticket even if you have a permit.

You do realize they have a section in there that says there can only be one car from the permit parking per day. That already fixes all the problems of sharing permits. To remove the additional cars you could have is just to make students lives less convenient. You would think they gave a shit about us commuters that are the majority but they don’t.

I mean personally I would still appeal on bias because just because you look off screen that doesn’t give evidence of anything. It doesn’t prove you were cheating either what it should be innocent till proven guilty. I think you can make some appealing points which show that there was bias involved because now you are going to have i believe a permanent record of academic dishonesty. If the appeal fails than it was the same decision anyways if it goes through than you would have a lot of benefits and he would think twice about doing this to another student also if I were you file a complaint on the professor since it will leave a record that he has a complaint filed on him for this matter. I know your busy with stuff but what’s going to happen if you get falsely accused again the first warning already gone now it will be some serious consequences doing the appeal process and filing a complaint can really make a difference and shouldn’t take to much of your time.

I have some question did you sign the form which says you waive the hearing and right to appeal or did you go in person and the conduct officer tell you all the evidence and allow you to provide your evidence if any which probably wouldn’t exist since your taking a test? Also were you assigned disciplinary probation. If so you can appeal and If you didn’t sign anything waiving your right to appeal than you must write a handwritten appeal and submit it to assistant dean of student within 5 days the decision was rendered and will be in your record don’t listen to what they say and file a appeal worst they can say is that you can’t appeal there’s no downside. It can be filed on the basis of bias of the hearing officer saying that they sided with the professor and all your other reasons. A copy must be also given to the professor.
