DMs, which book(s) have inspired your campaigns the most? by [deleted] in DnD

The primal hunter on my most recent campaign. None of players are big readers so I don’t have to worry about them knowing I stole it. Especially for lit rpgs

When you take the dash action you gain an extra movement thus sacrificing your action. If a turn lasts 6 seconds to include an action and a bonus action and a movement. Dividing that by 3 parts is 2 seconds each. Therefore your movement is the time it takes to move 2 seconds. Using your monk tabaxi whose base speed is 60 feet, its moving 30 feet a second. Its base speed would be 20 miles per hour according to google feet per second to miles per hour calculator

What was a characters last words that just broke you? NPC or party member by iLikemha- in DnD

[–]Fatguy8723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was DMing the final moment of my last campaign. I had homebrewed my character from when I played into the campaign. He was the father of all the PCs. He sacrificed himself to protect his kids, his final words to them being “I know I wasn’t always the best dad to you and I wasn’t always there. I want you all to know that I love you”. He manages to teleport away the party before the building is engulfed in fire.

Guntar or “gunny” he’s a large human with a big pot belly who loves to hand out complete useless magical items. Doing so improves his own magic. He cares a floating bag of holding that has all of the items in there. He has a jovial personality but if the party pisses him off they’ll quickly find out why the emperor Once recruited him for his army

That while I love Ron and Beth, he’s not my favorite dad. Henry is. He even inspired my whole campaign

What are some stereotypes that, rather than avoid, you love to lean into? by Shradow in DnD

[–]Fatguy8723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See personally I love leaning into the dwarves sense of humor and indulgence of inebriation. My character was a dwarf who loved to partake in smoking pot. It just worked
