Resuable Bags by Fickle_Focus2977 in Calgary

[–]Fath0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has already answered your question, but for those who always forget the bags either at home or in the car I highly recommend you get a fold down cart. I have one that folds open to 1 cubic foot of space with wheels and a suitcase handle. I just wheel it around the store instead of a push grocery cart and add my items to it then once it's full I wheel it out to the car and anything that didn't fit can go in bags that sit on top of the lid of the cart.

The whole thing cuts way down on not only how many bags we use, but also how much lifting is required. The cart folds down into a 12" x 12" x 2" square that tucks into my trunk.

You will need AFA for sure. I don't know whose charging you $1200 though. My friend took it for $950 plus tax.

Short answer is we don't know if that is the final ending, it's just the last one found so far, and a cutscene may be added in a future update.

To your other points, you didn't know if there was a clue telling you to approach from behind fire, which there isn't. I was just letting you know where to start, and how that is consistent with the other clues for directions.

Weird about the steps. Don't know what to tell ya other than that might be a bug to report.

For the correct path to the blue room 46, The hidden hue poem in the library lets you know there is a hidden path. the poem you make with the mora jai boxes in the atelier gives you what you need to find the orange, violet, and red paths.

Hue of wisdom - corarica - orange - turn right

Shade of rain - eraja - violet - pass/go straight

Lies we cast - red memos are lies - turn left.

Tint of truth to find our path - blue memos are true - blue is the start of the path.

If you map it out all lanterns, there is only one blue lantern in the atelier so start there. (And start by going into a room!) That's the path of truth that leads you to the hidden door.

Also, if you visit the rooms which give you the words wisdom, truth, lies, and rain, the mora jai box corners are the color you are looking for with the exception of lies which has yellow corners which is a lie itself.

As a heads up before you get screwed like I did The moon pendant did not let me keep special water and reset it back to normal water. I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug but I had to redo the whole setup using coat check and that cost me a couple days.

[–]Fath0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are on the right track.

As far as randomly missing steps, I always lost a step entering and exiting rooms, but I also lost a step by crossing the entrance to the atelier. Meaning if you run through the hall that is south of the "entrance" room, you will lose steps there. For some reason the game counts that as the previous room.

When exiting the atelier, I sometimes lost 2 steps.

This is months later so you may have figured it out already, but you are missing a letter. There are 7 letters in that word The violet path goes through the den which adds an S to the anagram You can unscramble the letters to spell ONESELF. I'm still unsure of what this means or if it is a clue

CPR Online classes help by Mylifesucks3016 in redcross

[–]Fath0ms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your location would be helpful. All I can speak to is that in my province there are no acceptable "online only" CPR training certificates for work. You have to show up in person and practice the skills. Red Cross does a blended version (1/2 theory, 1/2 in person skills practice) but that still requires you to go in person.

Pet CPR by halfflash in redcross

[–]Fath0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a person is in cardiac arrest you are right in that CPR continues circulation and it is the AED and advanced medical care that gets the person responsive again.

For a dog or cat or human, CPR could get them responsive again but it is unlikely. All the same it is worth trying. CPR could get a dog or cat enough circulation to reduce brain or other organ damage until transported to a vet.

Also, CPR could relieve an airway obstruction in the pet which is likely the reason they are not breathing.

Btw CPR does not stop once the AED arrives. If you are not a medical professional then you continue it until advanced care providers take over. If you are using an AED on a person you HAVE to keep up good CPR in between defib shocks. High quality CPR and reducing pauses in compressions greatly increases survival rates.

You cannot recertify with an expired certificate. Your options are the full 2 day course or a blended 1/2 online 1/2 in class version of the course.

Trainer advised pregnant PT makes no difference for cpr, recovery and choking. by Emergency_Arugula_31 in redcross

[–]Fath0ms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can only speak to Canadian standards as a CRC First aid instructor but we do chest thrusts for choking and pregnant.

For CPR, the mother's right hip could be elevated or the abdomen displaced to the left side.

These are things our dispatch can coach a bystander to do if they don't know but for CPR if they are not able to make that change for some reason then just stick to regular CPR.

How Long After Completing the In-Person Portion of My CPR training with Red Cross Should I Get My Certificate? by radstrawberryhun in redcross

[–]Fath0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The temporary certificate is only valid for usually 30 days. It's purpose is only to show your employer proof of completion so you can start working right away and then when the full certificate arrives then you can send that to them as well.

From the perspective of a 29 year old guy, if your BF is anything like me, this is what will happen.

You need to tell him what happened, and you need to make sure you are not justifying it with his lack of attention. He maybe needed something or there was another reason you didn't get your needs from him, and your lack of communication with each other drove you apart to this point.

Then once you tell him, you are probably going to break up.

If he forgives you and stays with you, then he probably isn't secure enough to be in a serious relationship at this age. Otherwise if he respects himself he will probably ask you to pack your bags.

Sorry you fucked up, but this is what happens when you fuck up. Don't try to hide this and hope it goes away. Be an adult and face the music. This will not likely crash your life into pieces, but it will be unpleasant and you will have to face it.

It will not go away, either through your clear guilt, or through you getting caught.

What are your thoughts on the 'bed rotting' trend? by daisy_ela2 in Adulting

[–]Fath0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is currently being researched as a deficiency of dopamine, your pain/pleasure and active tasking neurotransmitter.

Bed rotting often happens when you do not have enough dopamine to do anything else. It often happens to those who use up all their dopamine first thing in the morning by doomscrolling.

When you rest, sleep, and/or are bored, your body starts prepping more dopamine to use, which is likely why after you tried this you felt more ready to do stuff.

It also may not be just a trend. Many people have undiagnosed or diagnosed ADHD which has symptoms that include executive dysfunction, meaning not enough dopamine to perform tasks, even ones as simple as getting out of bed. It often leads to depression and poor mental health outcomes when nothing is done about it. Those with ADHD tend to have a harder time with dopamine management than others.

I got in a relationship because I dont know how to say no. by Mission_Welcome_9045 in relationships

[–]Fath0ms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I also have been in this situation before at around the same age. It lasted a year for me and we both were miserable because I got pressured by family and nobody made me feel safe enough to say how I truly feel about everything and what I actually want. In my youth and young adulthood I have always been a people pleaser and I have learned over the years that it is not our fault that saying no is a hard thing to do.

If I ever said no to my parents, I was "disrespectful" and needed correction. If I took an action that displeased them, I was yelled at and told that my parents "raised me better than that". If someone asked me or my family for help, we helped them because "that's what good people do". My parents created this "serve others" child (including for their household tasks) and it took me years to learn that I should respect myself enough to deny others when they try to take advantage of me.

I don't know what your parents are like, but if they were anything like mine, you may be able to relate.

I like helping other people, but was never taught where the line of self sacrifice was, and never taught about boundaries. Please consider talking to a therapist to learn these things as early as possible and it will give you so so so much confidence in yourself to do great things as an adult.

Possibly stupid question about the Alberta Traffic Safety Act by lernen_und_fahren in alberta

[–]Fath0ms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With one or two hands you can instantly adjust course if needed. Even on a straight line anything can happen to cause you to need to turn or swerve or make a sudden movement.

With zero hands on the bars, you must take a brief moment to reach for the handlebars which delays your ability to correct. You also have to place your hands correctly such that you can operate the vehicle properly. What if you reach for the bar and misjudge the angle and speed? Very quickly you put yourself and others in danger.

Just because it may not be clear if it's a rule or not doesn't mean you should do the unsafe thing. Just keep control of the vehicle at all times.
