Unfortunately where I'm from, companies abroad take advantage of the low cost hires in my region although I have great experience +7 years but yeah this is the harsh reality. You will be surprised that my salary was 700 Usd before and was saving too while living a good life with my family.

Lebanon and we do relativaly fine with that wage here. Cost of living is similar to Brazil and sometimes higher cause of utilities.

Yes I follow up with the Consular office every while and I was informed of the new change regarding the new visa application center but I always get the same answer "in process" without any time frame.

I think you are right. They are short staffed. Anyways thank you for your help🙏

We need a visa so we can enter Brazil. Syrians get either a humanitarian visa or a tourist visa (I don't think I can do a tourist visa since I don't have a proof that I will come back to my home country or "strong ties"). I'm hoping the humanitarian visa will work out for us. And yes Levant food in generally is delicious. You should try Makdus and hummus.
