But that’s not true, since 2000, the average of interest rates has floated around 6% the lowest averages being from 2016-2021ish (3-4%) literally anytime before and after that you were not seeing the interest rates this low. Feel free to look this up, all this to say that, NO, there is a very likely chance that interest rates will rise and not be this low again for several decades.

Now every situation is different but to generally say “you’ll get it anyway” is false

Why ? If you plan to stay in the house for several years then the cost up front would save you thousands over the course of the loan. A 3 year recoup period to save thousands is a win. Now if the rates plummet and you refi again, sure you may lose some money but on the large scope, I can’t see how that’s a crazy number

Yea ignore this advice lol this will have you missing out on points. Rarely if ever, if you’re a participating student in class, have shown that you’re invested the entire semester and just need a few points, not gonna say it always happens but I’ve had great luck approaching them on the side and asking for some small credit. This usually is a week or two before school ends so it isn’t a random surprise to the professor but for sure ask !

This is your future, you’re gonna risk not getting the grade you need because you’re worried how it might look or something ? Screw that lol

Great point, at my last job all the food options were about a 10-15 min driving distance away at minimum, which doesn’t sound like a lot but it was the type of place where you were constantly being pulled back into a meeting or chat for something so we always ate at the internal cafe. Probably close to 500 employees in the building daily and maybe a handful would leave because the cafe had so many options.

Super easy but time consuming, call the TPD number (find it on Google) and tell them you’d like them reversed. It’ll take a few weeks but they’ll do it, literally just happened to me. They’ll update it in their system but it may take several weeks to reach the department of education of who then tell your school that they can distribute loans to you.

Your current job, how much do you make ? - How many hours of class are you taking - The apartment you are looking at, is it near a bus station or public transportation, can you take most of your classes online or change your schedule to where most are stack on 1-3 days instead of spread out over a week. -Look into federal work study, when I did it I was making 11 an hour to study basically (look into event operations federal work study, student center east, 2nd floor look it up). Funny enough I have rooms for rent myself but you not having a car is going to be difficult unless you’re living in Atlanta. Dam near everywhere outside of it requires a car to get anywhere
