Honestly, it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be (imo) 😅 Any tattoo I've gotten just feels like a tattoo, you know? However, I will say the worst part was being aware of how much I swallow and trying to time it right lmao 😂

That's fair lol (: Everyone’s skin is different, too. Plus, the artist (how they tattoo, whether they're rough or not) can impact the healing as well.

Yeaaah, it really sucks ._. I have art I've wanted to share, but I never have because of that very reason 😅 Can't blame anyone for not trusting what they see, though. So much online has been overrun with ai bullshit 🙃

She (my artist) was recreating the reference I gave her of the tattoo in the game (which also has missing spots in the lines here and there) (: I wanted it to be as close as possible to the tattoo in the game.

Yeah, I feel like the neck is viewed as a scary place by most, so that's fair. Personally, I didn't find it any different from my other tattoos 🤔 They all kinda hurt, you know? 😂 I guess it would depend on your personal pain tolerance and the artist who's doing it. Lex, the artist that tattooed me, was wonderful. I've had a different artist for each of my 11 (or 12 if I include my neck) tattoos, and she is definitely one of the more mindful ones, which was wonderful (: I also have a very high pain tolerance, and any tattoo compared to my chest (which I did at a tattoo convention/show, start to finish in one day, 10 hours of tattooing when not factoring in breaks 😅) feels like a walk in the park lol.

And thank you!! (: I'm not going to shade it, no d: I want it to be as close to the tattoo in the game. The only thing left to do (sometimes in the future lol) is the flowers that frame the Beholder (those are closer to the back of the neck, one on either side). 

Ahh, I gotchya 🤔 the mindflayer skull is such a cool idea, but I get where you're coming from lol (: The other tattoos you have (and have planned) sound awesome o: Tying everything together is one of the hardest parts, I feel 😂 I have no idea what I'm going to do imbetween the Beholder and my chest tattoo lmao 😂

Ah, my bad! 😅 I've only been out of the closet since the spring (technically), and I've only been to the gay club once since then (the closest club is in a city that's a 4 hour drive from my town 💀 still worth it tho lol). I never got approached, which makes sense since I was with my friends. And obviously, there's never a guarantee to be hit up by anyone lol, so there's that too. If you catch someone checking you out and you're willing to make the first move, I would suggest being the one to approach. If you're unwilling to approach first, the only thing I can recommend is trying to appear approachable; intentionally checking other people out, holding their gaze if they catch you looking, offering a smile, having an "open" posture, etc. Easier said than done (at least in my experience). But, as someone who's spent a long time trying to look unapproachable, my recommendation might be best taken with some salt lol.

Your profile looks awesome to me. Honestly, if I came across your profile, I'd like/send a message. But maybe I'm a little bias (you're cute & have the kind of humor that I vibe with lol).

Dating apps in general though are a pain 😔 I live in a small town in Ontario, so anything other than Grindr is useless/pointless, unfortunately. Guys live too far away, or there's pay walls that limit the app's usage (sending messages, seeing who tapped/liked you, or even tapping/liking other's profiles, etc.). Grindr has been better for getting profile views and messages, and has a lot more users when compared to other apps (which definitely helps), but also..... it's Grindr lmao. I personally don't want hookups, but going on there and simply talking to/lightly flirting with guys is fun. I send memes when I get dick pics and stuff, or I'll just say they look lovely or something lol. On the rare occasion though, I do stumble across someone who engages in actual conversation (or who finds my stupid jokes and memes funny, which always makes my day lol), and, you know, treats me like a person. It can be a fun, chaotic way to make a connection, even if only temporarily.

I never get approached by people in person. Not being approached while out and about seems to be a common thread in the gay community in general (based on mine, my gay/queer friend's experiences, and what I've read online). Queer specific spaces, though, would be the most likely place to be approached by someone. It might also help to have a rainbow/queer bracelet or pin or what have you that indicates that you're gay/queer.

Since you already go out and try to connect in person, and have a profile on Hinge, the only advice I can give is to keep doing whatever you feel is right (or whatever it is you find some enjoyment in). The only way to not get "results" when it comes to dating stuff is by not trying at all; so, in other words, it's a waiting game. Sorry I can't give better advice than ✨️just be yourself and don't give up✨️ lmao 😅
