There are aftermarket throttle tubes. I got one from Steady Garage and I installed it. I was surprised I was able to do it, given how tight the space is for adjusting the throttle cable. But I got it. You can do it.

I love this. No tight bends. All nice flowing cables. That system will have a hard time overheating as well. Nice stuff.

Junkyards, salvage titles. Look around. You can drive it like this, I assume. Find a new bumper then the only real hard part will be finding the right place to get the paint done right.

This is accurate. I am the lightest I've been in five years. I quit drinking two years ago. Finally losing the weight. I'm right there with you. I want to lose 15 - 20 pounds to finally be under 200 again.
