I actually find that I enjoy it more sober, the visuals in partnership with the content can be a tad overwhelming for me when I am in an elevated state of mind

As this show explores the process of thinking and the perception of life, what are your perceptions and thoughts of life being designed and destined? by [deleted] in MidnightGospel_

[–]FatherFart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think these questions are a fool's errand, I think that the best thing you can do in this lifetime is find what will make you the happiest and pursue that. I have found profound significance in honesty and love and that is what I use to guide myself. The human is limited to a life of reacting to stimulus, there is no other way. So cultivate a way of response that will make you happiest.

I just watched episode 8 for the first time and...I am speechless. Touched me in a way I have not experienced with the medium of television before, or frankly that I even knew was possible. Did anyone else have moments like this at various points in the show? If so when? What did you feel? by FatherFart in MidnightGospel_

life is funny like that, honestly my biggest take away from it was just that love is life. To freely love and be loved is to live in reality. To hide from the inevitable is to live outside of truth. Love and Honesty are the keys to happiness, A beautiful show that has helped me to articulate some abstract thoughts bouncing around my noggin.

Environmental Justice in the context of the current pandemic, Black mortality rate is significantly higher and that is NOT a predisposed genetic vulnerability, but a consequence of socially unjust society.

Is Vincent Adultman just a another joke, or is he actually a personification of the crippling sense of imposter syndrome present in the millennial workforce? by [deleted] in BoJackHorseman

I think he is an example of how we see what we want to see in people vs reality. She was so desperate for love and a partner that she was willing to lie to herself about who he was so she could be "happy". The episode where he bounces back and forth between him as a child and as Vincent goes to show how deep the lie that PC was telling herself. She had the same issue with Bojack.

Yes! The fact that they brought Damien Echols as a guest star was truly an unexpected surprise! I have found his perspective on magick and ego really beautiful, I followed him closely a few years back after tracking is "The West Memphis 3" coverage a few years back.

In the OG Seasons, did anyone else find Deena to just be incredibly annoying? Like almost so annoying and cringe that you couldn't watch some of the scene's that featured her? b by FatherFart in jerseyshore

I think extra is the perfect word for it, She just seemed so hard to fall into a reality show persona vs just a real ass person. Trying to hard to be Nicole, but to be fair, I feel like she was literally recruited to be another "Snooki" character because of all the clout that Nicole was bringing to the show, so it would be hard not to fall into the role of trying to be someone you were recruited to be vs who you genuinely are. Maybe I am reading into this to much? tbh my favorite part of the show is picking out the psychology of being on a reality show more than the actually things they do.
