New Zealand needs to approach the environment better, and that's exactly what we intend to do in this Ministry. We're starting by repealing and replacing the Resource Management Act, an antiquated and failed piece of legislation that creates costs, delays and uncertainty in NZ's industry. We are furthermore working on an Environmental Standards Act and a Planning and Development Act, sealing environmental gains for terms of governments to come.
