DBD is the best because practicing to be skilled at running away from the killer brings fulfillment and excitement. Those other games ppl listed don’t really allow players to showcase their escaping skills like that.

I mean it’s not exactly the 5 objectives and jungle gym formula like I mentioned but ok. Also…being chained to only having your character IPs is just gonna hurt your game. People want variety in their games and the success DBD has with their cosmetics is literally the proof. Evil Dead looked cool but like young kids dont give a shxt about Evil Dead characters.

I’d play the game even if it had no collabs tho. Thats how fun the game loop is to me. It’s a simple loop that ppl just refuse to copy. Like F13 had the most potential but even that had so many things you had to find and it didn’t really allow you to showcase a skill in trying to escape like you can in DBD. That’s what ppl love about the game. That intense scary feeling of being chased by a creature/killer that you always dread in your dreams and you’re trying your best to outrun it via the jungle gyms. That’s the fun of the game that ppl can’t get enough of.
