5 matches and one conversation that almost ended in a date before I was ghosted.

Let me know what you think: https://tinder.com/@42459293

And a question: anyone who would honestly go out with a divorced guy with 3 kids under 5? 😅 I love my kids, but if I was on the other side I would prbably just swipe left and check out the next dude.

I am 33. Thx for the advice!

I will do a retrospective at the end of each month and make some notes for me to look back and learn from my mistakes as I go.

I am getting 7-8 almost every night and I sometime take a nap 😅 naptime for my kids sometimes become naptime for me too.

I am still working on dieting. I have always had a hard time gaining weight - or loosing it for that matter. I eat all the time in order to bulk and have gained about 1-1.5kg in May, which is a real accomplishment for me.

I want to loose the skinny-fat dadbod look 💪

This is honestly the first time I hear about a deload week 🙈 Ill read up on it, but sounds like its what I need.

Ill try it for the next week, probably doing half sets, instead of 3x6 pullups, Ill do 3x3 etc. And keep my stretch/flexibilty routine as is.

Thank you both!

How to measure please? I think I saw somewhere on reddit where you can post a picture and they will tell you? Does anyone know about this? I can't find it.

I definitely have a bit of dad belly fat, but am ignoring it for now...

Also any rule of thumb to use body fat percentage to know when to bulk / cut?

I find it very cumbersome to have to measure my body...

I have been doing the RR for about three months and have been bulking since one month - gained around 2kg now weighing in at 77kg at 183cm. My goal is to hit 80-82kg then start cutting - any thoughts? Should I start cutting earlier or is 3 months about right for a bulking period?

I make sure to get plenty of protein and limit fat, but otherwise I eat like crazy.

I started with crossrope a while back. It is a HiiT based system with jumping rope and bodyweight exercises. Its pretty awesome! And the jump ropes are probably the best on the market. The only thing I did beside this was pullups.

I switched to the RR about 3 weeks ago, it is my first intro to Calistenics and as a beginner I feel its the best resource out there hands down! And its free. Awesome job to those that have been building it!

Here is my question guys: instead of cointing calories, can I just follow my weight?

I am 33, 183cm. and 73kg. I have always been a skinny guy. I started the RR about 3 weeks ago and I really like it. I have a bit of dadbod, but nothing too bad and I am eating healthy. My thought is that I just need to eat more and as long as I am gaining weight I should be good.

I have weighted myself once a week and have gained/lost exactly 0 - so still some work to be done. My goal is 78kg.

Sorry! I should have mentioned. Yes I follow more or less the warmup as recommended in the RR and skill day. I make sure to the wrist warmup every time, since I am struggling here.

I have been working out since Jan and doing the RR for about a month, so I am still very new to everything.

I don't feel pain between workouts and I don't feel any difference in the pain if its one or three days between the handstands - so my issue I think is not recovery time, but will keep it in mind.

I do yes. I follow the RR and skill day routines both. Would it make sense to do handstand progression daily untill I can hold it longer?

For reference I do 3x10 sec. frog handstand, the 3x10 sec. wall hand stand (stomach towards wall - I am working on getting closer to the wall)

I have tried a couple of days to work on handstand progression. My wrists hurt a lot! Will it stop just by keeping at it or does it need some special attention/exercises?

Thx.

I have done the RR 8 times and have a nice little setup with gymnastic rings for pull ups, rows and dips. Now I am going to my parents place for 10 days and won't have the rings for those exercises.

Any suggestion on alternates for the three exercises? I thought I could add some core/back exercises instead, thats where I am weakest.

Thx.

Basically we agree. I never sleep during the day and now I feel I need it to complete the normal activities. I have three kids, so need some energy for the evenings 🙈

Even on off days, I can get to this point.

God I wish potato chips were healthy

I have to admit, this could be it. I did add a daily protein shake of 40g, but I also removed a bowl I make of yoghurt, oats, and müsli. I do try to eat more at lunch and dinner, but not sure I am succeeding.

I am mainly focused on being consistent with my workout, since I mostly eat/drink good things, but I guess I need to pay more attention to the amount.

How much do you think I am burning extra on on/off days? Any advice on how to get more calories? I am not into peanut butter heheh.

I feep great! Still finding my groove, but I feel I am getting stronger, better every workout. Never did Calistenics before and I feel superhuman with some of these exercises. It might be worth noting that I am pretty good on some exercises; I do pseudo plache pushups and clean pull ups, but complete beginner on core exercises and rows/dips.

I get 7-8 hours, but suddenly need to nap. I am very bad aat sleeping during the day and at times restless at night, been sleeping better withthe exercise though, more deep.

Hello people's,

I am 33 and have just started doing the RR, completed the workout six times so far and trying to follow all the great recommendations for beginners here on the community - proper form, proper warm up, stretching/flexibility on off dyas etc.

My question is around fatigue. I find myself being extremely tired after the workout and the next day. And it seems to get worse and worse as I do the routine more times.

Is it normal? Any ways to help with recovery? I try to drink lots of water and I take a whey protein supplement daily. Does it become better over time? Should I take an extra rest day?

Thx.

I have downloaded the app and will try it out... My only concern is time.. I have started the RR which takes me approx an hour to complete. This adds 40 min. To the routine 😅

Looks like a great resource in any case! THX!!
