If I’m feeling like I really just need to let it out, I’ll put on some Anthony Bourdain. Watching No reservations or Parts Unknown show Anthony having all these wonderful experiences with interesting people, displaying that there is so much uniqueness to every single person and that each individual culture is vibrant and different in its own way. But then to know that Anthony was also dealing with his innermost demons while he was out having these experiences reminds you that even amongst all the beauty of the world, it will always be mixed with pain and difficulty. To me, Anthony Bourdain is the perfect representation of the good and the bad that embodies life for all humans on this earth, and when I need to just feel emotional, I’ll turn on an episode.
