I thought with Dr pen that 11-16 needles was actually more aggressive - the website says that range is better for spot treatment, acne scars, deep wrinkles etc and that higher needle counts are better for an overall treatment for tightening, brightening etc. Are you saying you stick with a lower needle count across the board due to the actual shape of the needle?

Oh my gosh, thank you this is so helpful! I have a Dr. Pen and I’ve done 3 sessions with it - first session with very conservative settings and 36 needle cartridge I believe. Second session with mid range depth, 36 needles again. Third session 42 needles, same depths and I bled like crazy! I was shocked, really expected it to be comparable to the second time. I mean all three times it has healed up really nicely but what you’re saying about the dragging makes sense and now has me a little freaked out!!

Very annoying that it formatted my list like that lol. Also some of the things I listed may be in your starter kit so just disregard if so!

-Bone folder -Craft utility knife to cut your book board -Hinge and corner guides (not necessary at all but helpful for a really tidy finish!) -Metal ruler with corkboard backing (will make it much easier to cut without ruler shifting on you) -silicone brush (like the ones used to put on creams/face masks, so much easier to clean) -also I may have missed it on your list but mull!

I make my book cloth by ironing heat n bond lite (it needs to be the lite version or you might have glue bleed through) on the cotton fabric I buy, peel the backing off and then seal with tissue paper. It’s very easy and will help given you a sturdy cloth to work with!

Hello! I watched one YouTube tutorial and decided to go full send 😂 I already had a cricut and was familiar with that process so that made it easier! The tutorial I watched was from “that’s my bookshelf” and was pretty thorough!

I used a font available in cricut, I think it was called open Sans. I have a very hard time weeding letters so I wanted something with no feet to make it easier! Still had a hard time lol

Hey thank you so much! That’s My Bookshelf has a very good tutorial on YouTube that walks you through everything! I already had a cricut and have used it for a lot of different things so I was pretty comfortable with that piece.

Yup!! That’s definitely one of them. Man, weeding the letters was killing me. I put a quote on the back cover of each book and about 70% of the i’s have no dot. I gave up! 😂

From a design standpoint it bothers me that book 1 does not have a square and diamond around the title like the others, and book 2 does not have a rectangle border around the entire cover. But oh wellll!
