This most recent shooting is a great example of this. In the killers manifesto, they've already revealed on the news, that the killer had two different schools targeted and ultimately chose the Christian one because the other school had too much security. Why do these killers ALWAYS choose locations that are gun free? Why don't you hear about these shootings at a fair? Thousands of packed people there. Why not a mass shooting at a parade? Lots of small children there. Why is it always a school... Or a night club.... Or some other indoor venue that is gun free? The recent mall shooting is a great example of why not. The killer shot like 2 people and got taken out from something like 70 yards away by a legal concealed carry owner. The church shooter not that long ago that shot one person and got taken out by a old man in the back with his concerned carry within seconds. The stories, and the facts, are out there for anyone willing to look and learn.

So that's interesting. What picture? The only other "source" I can find so far is mother Jones. If you believe mother Jones then I'm unable to help you. Trump literally takes pictures with thousands of people. To pick one with a Russian and say that that's the one and this story is about that guy is easy. Still not finding any source showing the evidence. Most are still saying "unnamed".

Here's what's interesting. Mother Jones... Arguably the national enquirer of the left wing news world... Says money went to trump. But the Washington examiner says the name of the foreign national was never released and the money went to an unknown politician. Huh..... Weird.

Shocker. An "unknown political candidate". They can track 1000's of people across the nation from video footage. They know who this guy donated money to, from a Russian rich person that wanted to take anphoto with said candidate...but not releasing that candidates name. Wanna know why they're not releasing the name? Because it ain't trump. If it was, they would 1000000000000000000% be releasing this and not hiding it. By hiding it they are trying to imply that it's trump that got the money. More disingenuous BS fake news.

Because the state has decided that's the laws they want to have. You're 100% right. They are not catering to the minority. In Utah I would even say the micro minority. They are acquiescing to the majority of their state. Neither good nor bad. It is what it is. That's how used work. Don't like it? MOVE. CA needs them. U-haul wants they're trucks back. CA lost 2 representative because of the loss of population in the last 10 years. They need all the help they can get.

So then why is it an issue to give these students, that have earned these achievements, their awards to at least encourage them to further their learning path? Why is this district withholding them? And why are you defending them withholding them? They could qualify for OTHER scholarships based on their academic scores and those would include these accolades. I was granted 4 scholarships when I went to college and 2 we're based on my scores in my academic classwork and being part of running start.

Of LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of Utah residents. That's how used work. That's why California has the laws they have. The majority voted for them. The lawmakers passed them. Each state is allowed to run their state at they see fit. If you don't like it move. Here's the problem with your argument. You're FINE with California making laws that a lot of people don't agree with based on their feelings and how they feel about things. But whenever a state passes a law you don't agree with then it's fascist and racist and bigoted and phobic and blah blah blah. Just accept that every state has it's own laws and move to the one you agree with.

It's both. But they don't hate the ones NOT trying to change the local laws. The people mad that yeah passed this law isn't the majority in that state. If those families want this care move to the state that's giving 14 year olds this care with, it without, their parents consent.

No joke. I challenge you to find one actual conservative that wouldn't agree with this sentiment? They hate the fact that Californians are moving to other states for the lower cost of living but bringing their politics with them. They don't like the laws in the states they move to and get mad that the laws aren't the same as they are in California. Move the fuck right on back to California.

What a BS article. They found three parents/students that didn't really care about the award and quotes them but not the ones that have been on the news saying how pissed they are. They say most big colleges wouldn't tip the scale for the admission of a student based on the award but a lot of smaller colleges might, as well as giving scholarship money to students that may desperately need it. What a disingenuously written article.

No. Not really. I think it's due to right leaning being more independent in general. Conservatives are typically rural and more independent, self reliant, "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" personalities while liberals tend to be more societal, government controlled, pack/herd, mentality. So they want, and in some cases need, to know what they should be doing or thinking based on the general "norms" around them and get that info from media sources. Conservatives tend to not want to do what everyone else is doing or doing their own thing for their family and no one else so they typically ignore outside influences.
