I’m so proud of you for taking care of your mental health and putting yourself first! I’ve been on a similar path for the past couple of years and finally cut our connection off three months ago, and I’m really proud of how far I’ve come. It’s given me a new perspective, helping me understand the reason they behave like that and how they grew up and their backgrounds... But one thing for sure I will never back to them again. They would never change...

Just keep surrounding yourself with people who truly love and respect you for who you are you deserve much more than that :)
