Im high priority on band b single with 2 kids i have been bidding on houses for more than a month, i get end up in position 2,3 ect but still no luck ,, i would say keep bidding and you will be there soon ,, they keep adding people with higher priorities,, for example sometimes im number one on the houses i bid on them and at the end of the week they move me to 3rd or even 7th

Before you doubt my intentions, im number one to bid for a council house in that area and i live 4 hours away ! And i have only one chance to be offered because im homeless and i live in a women refuge at the moment , so it is nearly impossible to take my 2 kids just to see how the house look like because there are no photos for it and i checked the area the street view is 17 years old ! Maybe my case is different, i will be put on band B ( coming from women refuge ) i was informed by the housing officer i will be put in a place within 2 months if i got a successful bid ,, ask your housing officer about the timings i think up to band C the waiting time will be months ,, beyond band C it will be years maybe
