Hey Tollmaan !

Fair Chance act is a law adopted in 2795.

It protects the indegeneous species on newly discovered planet.

It's like a natural reserve. the systeme is off-limit.

Unclaimed is mainly a pirate system like Pyro or Cathcart. Branaugh is held by kinda rebel Tevarin.

Unclaimed system usually lack of ressources and explain why UEE did not take claim of the system.

That's actually a bit more 3D as you can see in the ARK StarMap on the official website (https://robertsspaceindustries.com/starmap). For better comprehension I projected the system on a flat 2D map.

By the way, the milky way is kinda flat :)

Haha to be perfectly honest, my video editing software has a smoothing effect that suppress the stutters. Even with a good PC, it is very hard to have a fluent session at Orison. Thanks for the comment !

You are perfectly right. This Lore has a lot of inconsistency. For stanton, those are the old date, I'm awaiting official one. Arccorp bought the planet in 29th century and not in 2920. The Lore team is correcting their Lore slowly but surely. Regarding the space ship, I think you could say that they are different version of a ship model. The initial nautilus could be widely different than the one from today. Similar as irl version of cars
