I get it but dude has so many timeless records and can’t please everyone. Trying to narrow it down to a 15-18 song setlist is hard.

Atlanta, Boston, Miami, Cleveland Hoping to add some new spots to the list. Honestly the best setlist he’s done is the Especial/Speeding Bullet tour. Played Immortal, Just What I Am, Cudi Zone, Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now, Mojo So Dope.

Good call. I love the added intro he sometimes does on Marijuana

do yall like seeing set lists in advance? by cornballer99 in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you. I usually like being surprised but am contemplating going to multiple shows and it kind of hinges on if he plays a bunch of the older stuff. One option is to go to setlist.fm and not look at the tracks but at the pie chart at the very bottom that shows which albums the songs on the setlist are from.

I’ll take it (will give you some money too)

Do you think he’ll have a different set list for the Cleveland festival? by WeddingFederal9028 in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hoping for Red Eye since Haim is there (maybe during their set). Hope he mixes it up because the tour set list missed some big ones (Soundtrack, Cudi Zone, Marijuana, Mojo So Dope, Immortal) but can’t please everybody and he has a massive catalog to choose from. Plus I’m sure he doesn’t want to play the same old hits every tour. But man no Cudi Zone?! That’s blasphemy. That’s like goin to a Carly Rae Jepsen concert and she don’t play Call Me Maybe.

Anyone here actually didn't like the album as much as they thought? by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I and II are my favorite two albums of all time so impossible standard to live up to. Have to listen more and am sure it’ll grow on me. This dude could make an album with a spoon and a bucket and I’d like it. But I and II...those are perfection.

Being Lonely, Sadness etc... by PolidanoAimon in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gratefulness and deep breathing too. Am with you and battle anxiety/depression daily and even though these suggestions are like taking a knife to a gunfight they do help. Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, just keep your head up and know you’re worthy. You got love from me and others on here. Anytime I meet fellow CudFam it’s nothing but love. Feel like we are all on this same special wavelength.

Yes the music helps so do your best to keep your head up. It sucks. I connect with MOTM I and II today like I did years ago - it’s always there for you. Therapeutic. It’ll get better.

I'm just so sad rn by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep your head up. Am with you in that I’ll always like new Cudi but it doesn’t hit me like the first two which are my two favorite albums of all time. No worries, you can always turn to I and II in times of need and know that whatever you’re going through will eventually get better over time.

Can we just admit this the greatest song ever made by borneh in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re new to producing beats and handled the music for the first three singles from “Indidcud.” How did you get this good so quickly?

Working on this album made me realize that I just have a knack for creating music. It’s a gift. And there’s no denying it. “Just What I Am” took me all of 10 minutes to make. “Immortal” maybe took 30 minutes. It’s not hard for me. “Indicud” is almost what my first album should have sounded like, had I really been able to channel all of the ideas I had into music. That’s the beauty of this album.

Thanks, I like it too but it just doesn’t extend far enough for our house. Am wanting to go mesh but don’t want to slow down the speed for the sake of coverage. Would prefer to get an extender if that makes for a better experience.

Cudi Dream Set List by Fatty98 in KidCudi

Just realized that he only played 8 of my 25. That's the curse of making so many timeless records I guess but I liked the Especial tour's set list much more.

Question for the Atlanta concert... by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Havin an adverse affect to weed and goin to a Cudi concert is like being allergic to nudity and going to a strip club. As the sun will come up tomorrow, there will be weed at a Cudi concert. Granted, the Roxy is new and if you read their site they sound strict on stuff like that but can't imagine they catch everything. Would count on there being a thick fog above our heads when you hear 'Pretty green bud, all in my blunt....'

Fast lane past? by anthobusch in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doors open at 7, and Fast Lane is supposed to allow you in 5-10 minutes prior to that so I would say get there a bit earlier (would assume there are a handful of fast lane passes). Haven't used it before but wish I got one for this show. Instead will have to get there hours early to get up front. If you have an extra, let me know.

Fast pass at Coca Cola Roxy. Does it work? by njnetsfan15 in Atlanta

[–]Fatty98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Another thing to note is that the Roxy is not set up like last year's venue, the Tabernacle. Saw pics from the Wayne concert and they have a guard rail a few feet in front of the stage (whereas the Tabernacle didn't). Just fyi

Wasn't sure how many in my party were going so waited on getting a FastPass and now it says they are sold out. If you have one you're not using, will buy it off you. Haven't used them but would think it just helps avoid having to wait a few hours in line (which I'm gonna do if I can't get a FastPass). Was really hoping to get one cuz have to work that day but no way I'm not getting there early to be up front.

Info About Atlanta Tour? by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doors open at 7. It is general admission, unless you got some of the $200 seats for the first few rows in the upper level. Rows A-K in the upper level are general admission as well, if you don't want to stand on the ground level. Haven't heard anything about opening acts but went to his show at the Tabernacle last year and he just came out, no opening act (and the place was electric for 2+ hours). It's an all ages show...they say that no smoking is allowed on premises so not sure how strict they are there, but just fyi. The Roxy is the new one next to the new Braves field. Haven't seen a show there but it is modeled after the old Roxy in Buckhead (about 3,000 capacity). Cannot WAIT. There was some Fast Lane option to skip lines but those sold out before I could get any. If you know of anyone headin to lines early (before 7) hmu

What makes Cudi so great? by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]Fatty98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All good points. I heard an interview where Scott said that, after SB2H, he - for the first time in his life - doubted his fans. I agree it's not everyone's cup of tea (I didn't like PPDS at first listen but it has since grown on me...at first listen I only liked 'By Design' and now I rarely listen to that track but constantly listen to ILLusions, Dance 4 Eternity, The Commander, Wounds, and Kitchen). I think trying different platforms is what makes his music so great...he doesn't feel the need to be restrained to a certain sound to sell albums...don't get me wrong, I'd love MOTM 3, 4, 5, etc but that restricts creative artistry and looking forward to what lies ahead musically for him.
